I had a very similar experience to what one of the other reviewers wrote about baby center customer service. it really was great. But my experience might have been better. (* I hope bad people do not use this info to deceive this nice store after reading this). Like the woman who experienced receiving a wrong item, I did too. my order was fleece blanket baby sack(sleeping bag for a baby) but the store sent me cotton sack(cotton one was expensive than fleece one. order summary showed correctly they charged me price of fleece one). The first thing I thought was that "I have to go to post office to return this!"(But I was 38 week of pregnant and was not sure how soon I could go post office for this. what if baby arrived during return-exchange process? I didn't prepare any other comforter or blanket for baby..) I got angry immediately, and I wrote babycenter.com e-mail anyway. I thought they would tell me to send the wrong item back as soon as possible, but their reply was totally different than what I expected. they said I should keep cotton sack(meant they gave me) and they would issue me full refund for what I actually ordered(fleece sack) as a missing item, so they meant that I did not even go to post office to send the wrong item back and yet the money I was charged once for fleece sack was refunded(plus some shipping fee was refunded). so as a result, I've got a free item and full refund.

Not only the customer service, the store did really a good job. the reason why I visited the store and decided to shop was because I saw a very cheap baby crib on their site. it was Cosco portable crib (regularly $79.99), my husband and I were waiting to buy a crib until we found a really good deal. the cheapest one we saw was $105 at Walmart(local Walmart and even web charge us sales tax, so we knew it would cost more than $105). Anyway Babycenter.com was in Memorial Day sale and the Cosco crib was $69.99. Of course the shipping fee for oversize item like crib was expensive, we were charged $20 for extra plus basic shipping fee(about $11), so total nearly $30 for shipping fee, even so, $69.99 plus $30 was still cheaper than the crib we saw at Walmart, and babycenter also offered us 10% discount for the crib, so actually the crib price became $60 or so. And shipping fee they charged us was for ground, but they sent crib to us very fast via Fedex.(it was like.. we ordered on Saturday via online and received the crib and other order items as well on Thurs day. it didn't even take a week). so it was good too. I've paid total $122(crib, baby sack, diaper liner, changing pads. $122 included shipping) but as I mentioned first, I got refund for a wrong item and it was nearly $21. so, actually I paid about $100 for entire order as result. it really was good.(ground shipping charge for faster shipment, 10% coupon, Memorial day sale discount price, full refund for wrong item).

if I complain something, there was something. when I wanted to buy quilt for a baby, I noticed that price were different depending on colors although quality of the items were the same. (if yellow qilt is cotton 100%, pink one is too, but pink one was expensive..). I don't understand that. And although this store is big, I could not shop everything my baby would need at this store only.(any stores are like that. Target don't have everything, babystyle don't have everything, so we have to visit different stores to complete shopping for baby). But anyway as you can see, I really had a good experience with babycenter.com.
