I am very satisfied with the purchase price, condition of product I received and the fast, free 3-day shipping. I called to confirm item in-stock before placing the order online. Since I did not receive email confirmation on the order, I made second call to customer service to confirm the order and expected shipping date since I needed the stroller for trip next week. They informed that stroller will arrive Friday and indeed it did. But as other customers reported, there was no email feedback on order placement and product shipped notice/Tracking# etc. I will buy from them again. The trick is that you must call to confirm item in-stock before placing an order.

I had a HORRIBLE experience with this company. I ordered a stroller, that day I requested tracking info and a check making sure it was in stock. They sent me a notice back, it was in stock and ready to go out on the next truck, they could send me the tracking info the day after it went out on the truck. To make a long story short, 1 week goes by and I decide to call...the stroller is on back order!! I had them cancel my order and refund my credit card. I placed the order with Albee Baby and they'll have the stroller here before BCA will even have at there location. The hassle was NOT worth SAVING $5!!

They needed to contact me to verify my shipping and billing address, which delayed my receipt of the stroller just a bit. Not a big problem, though. I just checked my credit card statement, however, and I've been overbilled, so I need to check into that.

I ordered 3 items and have so far received 2 with other item on back order for 2-3 weeks. So far the experience has been good. So assuming the back order comes in when expected this has been an overall good experience. I would have liked to have received an email when the item was actually sent as I was having it sent to another party and I wanted to make sure she was expecting the package.

We purchased a stroller from this place. They do have some of the lowest prices but the catch is that they don't keep much of anything in stock. You'll end up waiting for the manufacturer to send it to them and then they will mail it to you. Their "1-2 weeks" is wishful thinking if everything goes just right. We placed an order a month ago and are still waiting. Their communication was terrible, we would have had no idea what was going on unless we had called to bug them several times....and that is just what it feels like, that you are bugging them. Some of them are good at customer service...some not so much. Probably won't order from here again.

I found the stroller I wanted and placed the order since it did say "IN STOCK". A few days later I received a notice that they were out of the stroller and to order it from the merchant which could take 2-3 weeks. Then, they would mail it out to me which could take up to 6 days. They even charged my credit card to hold the item. I was very disappointed at the whole process and canceled my order. They reimbursed my credit card after I had to explain repeatedly that I wanted to cancel my order. I will never order from this site again and will advise friends not to either.

I found this website while doing a search for discounted car seats. All of their Britax Boulevard's were comparable to a lot of other web sites prices, except for one in particular which is/was being discontinued. Not the best pattern but my son needs a bigger carseat so we ordered it. They didn't charge for shipping or any tax. Very helpful! As it turns out, that pattern was low in stock and they didn't think there would be any more left after they processed my order so they very graciously let us order another pattern with no difference in price!

Prices are competative but the customer service is one of the worst I've experienced. I ordered in item which is shown as in stock but afterwards received an email that the item was backordered for 1-2 weeks. Nevertheless my credit card was charged immediately. 3 weeks later my item still had not arrived. A called for a status update and the operator who answered my call was not very helpful and rude as well. I will not shop here again.

I would not shop with baby catalog again. I ordered a stroller on Sunday and online it said that it would be shipping out no later that 11 hours. On Tuesday afternoon, I checked my email, only to find an email from them saying that my stroller was on back-order for 4-6 weeks and that my c.c had already been charged. WHAT?? Why don't they say online if the item is on back-order when you order it instead of saying it is in stock. Anyway, I called and cancelled my order right away. I do have to say though that the lady at customer service was very nice and easy to deal with.

I ordered the Peg Perego Pliko P3 and Primo Viaggio - the price was phenomenal! When they arrived (on time) - the box was torn & the car seat base was cracked due to poor FedEx handling. I called Baby Catalog and the customer service representative was fantastic! He arranged to have my seat picked up the next day and sent out another car seat the same day. I had my new car seat in just 2 days and it could not have been any easier. I LOVE this store and shop here regularly. Great price, free shipping, great product lines & selection, excellent customer service every time I call for info - What more can I ask for? FABULOUS!

Great on-time delivery and the best prices around. Their customer service people are very knowledgeable and polite. Babycatalog.com couldn't have been better! We ordered a Britax car seat and we had it in 3 days! The price was fantastic, and the shipping was free. Customer Service was great. They don't send out tracking numbers automatically but I called their 800#, and they tracked it right over the phone. They told me where it was, when it would arrive and the tracking number so I could track it myself later - try getting personalized service from the other guys like that!

I ordered a 2007 Peg Perego Primo Viaggio SIP car seat in Crystal Blue. It was priced less than anywhere else at $194.00. I also got free shipping and no tax. I ordered it on a Wednesday and it arrived Friday morning. The site said to expect it to ship in 1-3 business days, however it was MUCH faster than that to my delight. The car seat is in perfect condition and so was the box. The customer service department was very pleasant to deal with. My only reason for calling was to inquire about a tracking number. My only complaint is that they don't send out an email confirming the item has shipped. Other than that, it was a fantastic shopping experience.

One thing I hate about certain companies is when they have a problem with your order or your credit card or what ever they wait for SEVERAL days or even a week to notify you, just at the time you should be expecting your order. This happened to me with Baby Catalog. There was a problem with processing my card (they had the problem, it wasn't on my end). Sooo...instead of notifying me immediately like other places with good customer service, they waited 5 days. Needless to say I will be shopping somewhere else where the price may be higher but so is the customer service!

I chose to order from Babycatalog.com, because it was the only place that was selling the specific Colgate mattress I was looking for. Terrible customer service. I placed an order on Thursday only to receive an email late Friday afternoon that the item was backordered for 4 weeks. They waited until I could not contact them about it until Monday and therefore could not cancel the order and place an order elsewhere. I find it very irritating that they didn't list on the website that the item was backordered and wouldn't be available for 4 weeks. That alone could have saved me a lot of headache time.

I called and they told me to take it up with the manufacturer. The customer service(?)representative who claimed to be the manager was very short and rude. I was very impressed with several things about The Baby Catalog of America. First, their pricing was the lowest I could find for the Britax Marathon car seat, plus they gave me a free seat protector. My order was 100% accurate and arrived just when they said it would. They did send me an email to confirm my online order, but there was no shipping tracking number or online access to my order status. I really like that feature at other sites, so I hope they will add this in the future. Despite this, I would definitely shop there again!

When I first ordered from Baby Catalog, I was a little skeptical, because the prices seemed so much lower, and I had never heard of it before. I have now bought 5 items and have never been disappointed, in service or in price. Recently I bought a Britax car seat at a price that was approximately $20 lower than any other place I found. It turned out the color I order was out of stock, so I received a phone call where they offered to send any color replacement to me, even those that are more expensive, for the same price. Service has been friendly, items received in a timely fashion, and frequently the best price around.
