Ordering was easy. I ordered two carseat carriers on 11/25. For some reason, the items were shipped seperately but on the same date. One item arrived on 12/1 the other a few days later requiring me to make two trips to receiving instead of one.

It is a good site and i appretiate that they do not take advantage of international customers. They have flat rate shipping to canada and include duty and customs charges in the price so i owe nothing when it arrives.

The shipping was indeed fast..but I would have liked to have gotten the tracking number once it was processed. I wrote and asked for this tracking number...it took 2 days to send this to me...I had already received the shipment when I received the return e-mail.

The shipping practices are odd. I had to call to let them know that I needed a quote for shipping; and then they had to let the shipping department know, and then the would send an email message "in a couple of days" to let me know how much. It seems a bit outrageous. I'm waiting to hear from the "shipping department".

I just don't like how I had to pay almost $7.00 to ship 2 DVD's. Most stores honering the military Star card do not charge shipping unless it is a very large item, BUT never $7 on two LITTLE DVD's!!!!!

Ordered a car seat that was "in stock"..to be fair it did say that the order "process" time would be 2-4 weeks..I guess they hand stitch it or something..anyway it was 2 months before it showed up on my doorstep.

They charged my credit card as soon as they got the order and it did not ship for almost two months..

Poor communication. Got one girl who finally did reply to my emails and phone calls.

Overall, could have ordered this seat from any other company on the internet at the same price and will do that next time!

They had the most reasonable combination of price and shipping costs. I backed out of other orders where the purchase price was lower but the shipping costs were ridiculously inflated. Baby Universe had the best deal.

There was a bit of confusion between the descriptions for the Cosco Transpire and the Alpha Omega transpire. The high back booster is written as if it could be a rear facing as well as forward facing. I ordered it in error and the shipping to return was very costly ($50) In that respect I am very unhappy. This is the third order I have placed and I will be much more inquisitive if I order again.

Original order was placed on 10/03/06, waited the 6 weeks for the special delivery. At the 6 week mark had not received any shipping information and emailed Customer Service. Was told that it would be an additional 2 weeks! Now two weeks was on 11/30/06 and still have not received any shipping information. Emailed Customer Service on 12/1 and have not heard back. Called Customer Service today and they were astounded that I have not received the crib bedding and were going to follow up with someone. Not sure who, maybe the crib bedding fairy. This is ridiculous and I am sure my dog could have made the bedding by now.

The shopping experience was great, easy to find merchandise and the order was easy to make. Plus, the delivery was very fast. That being said, I never knew when the delivery was expected, didn't recieve an email on how to track the deliver and felt communication was completely dropped after my order. I will shop again, though I don't appreciate the lack of communication after I placed my order.
