I got the product I wanted for the best price which was great. However, it drove me crazy when I tried to type in my credit card information. It kept thinking I had written my expiration date in wrong. When I retyped it it would look fine but then on the next page it would have changed.

I ordered from Baby Universe because of their $6.95 shipping for the entire order. Their shipping was much less than Babiesrus.com. I got two out of three items quickly. As for the third item, it was on backorder. However, the on-line status didn't say that it was on backorder, it said your item will ship shortly. I ended up cancelling the third item, because it wasn't going to ship until a week after I received everything else.

tried to track order, was in the "waiting to ship" for over a week, finally called customer service and was told it was back ordered, but they would see if they could get it and call me at work to let me know if I needed to order something else. I get home from work, and they had left me a message on my home phone that was garbled...so I still dont know where my order is...will probably just go to the mall and buy it, as will be less hassle

I have much experience ordering on-line and I have found Baby Universe to be the worst, by far.
We ordered a toy which turned out to be discontinued, but we did not find that out until we called because the order could not be tracked. I received three confirmation e-mails, none of which indicated a problem with the order. The password didn't work, the confirmation numbers were confusing, etc... What a waste of time. |

The product selection was very good and it's hard to beat the $6.99 shipping. I received my merchandise with 2-3 days from the time they alerted me that it had been shipped. I thought that was very reasonable considering the low cost of shipping. Overall I was very happy with the entire experience at Baby Universe. I will definitely be shopping with them again.

I do much shopping on the internet. Never before (NEVER) has my credit card actually been charged before the merchandise was shipped. I consider this very unethical, unnecessary and inexcusable. I ordered the merchandise on November 28, my credit card was charged on the 28th, and now on December 5, my merchandise has still not been shipped. Or if it has, the merchant's website does not reflect it.

I emailed customer service and was told that it would take at least 2 weeks for the item to be shipped. I would have liked to have been told this upon ordering the item. I also don't think that credit cards should be charged until the item is shipped.

I'm so glad you sent the follow-up survey because I received my order yesterday and was going to write and tell you how pleased I was with my first shopping experience at Baby Universe. I like purchasing gifts that are special. I needed the items I purchased in a hurry because one had to be shipped to Australia for the holidays and the others were for a dated shower. I knew I was cutting it close, but didn't have time to spend a lot of time shopping when I ran across Baby Universe on the internet. I found exactly what I was looking for at a price I thought was reasonable. I found the order process very easy. I chose the option to process my order online and call the next day with payment information. I was kept well informed of when the order was received and shipped. The order arrived without delay yesterday, in time for both occasions. Even more important... I am so pleased with the quality and will be proud to present them as gifts and see them on the babies.
