I read all the bad reviews for this online store only after I ordered the stroller from them, and I was really worried that I might end up having all kinds of problems with Baby Universe. I was pleasantly surprised with my experience, though. Not everything went as smooth as with some of the other online stores that I had used in the past, but the problem was corrected quickly and easily, and I received my item in time. The problem that occurred happened due to the poor packaging or handeling of the item. I found out that the stroller was damaged because it fell out of the box during the shipping process. I was never notified of the problem by either the shipping company or the Baby Universe, and I found out about it while trying to track my order, since I only received part of the order (car seat adaptor), but no stroler with it. However, Baby Universe online store was great about dealing with the issue. I contacted them after finding out what had happened with my stroller, and they responded via e-mail within an hour (and it was a weekend!). They were very nice about the whole situation. Thay assumed that I had already received the damaged stroller, and told me not to even bother myself with trying to ship it back to them. They said to do whatever I wanted with it (I guess I could have kept it for parts for later if I had it), and that they are going to ship a replacement stroller next thing in the morning, which they did. The replacement stroller arrived in two days. Therefore, my original scheduled delivery date was never changed, and I got my stroller when it was originally promised (3-7 business days). The damaged stroller never reached my house, and was shipped from the UPS back to Baby Universe, I assume. So, I was never bothered with dealing with returning a damaged item. The only negative thing that I have to say is that the box in which the item arrived to me was not in the best condition. The stroller itself did not get seriously damaged except for a slight damage to the foam on the handle, but it is not a big deal. I got a great deal on the stroller (a $100 less than on any other website or store). I wish I knew about there coupons before I ordered. I could have saved even more.
