The denim dress I purchased from Blair was VERY poor-quality.
Now, because of the low price, I was not expecting super-high quality, but I expected it to be similar to JC Penney or another relatively inexpensive store. The long denim dress looked okay, but the buttons would not stay buttoned! I don't mean that it was tight on me, I mean that the button-holes were literally too large for the buttons, or something! I wore this dress to work, and it's a good thing I wore leggings underneath, because it was constantly falling open! The low price is not worth it. You can get relatively inexpensive clothes at JC Penney or Target that are much better than this. I wore this dress once--just once--and then threw it away. The material was also very thin...okay for summer, but really not okay for other seasons. |

There are a lot of what seems to be unnecessary steps to complete the process of making a purchase. would love to have a One-Click option or more embedded information once in My Account mode to streamline the ordering time.
I wish they would just stick to free shipping rather than all the variety like $5 off, 20% off entire order, mystery gift with purchase. I believe most online shoppers are looking for free shipping more than any other offer.
There should be a change in policy if the item is obviously a fault on the part of Blair to allow free return shipping. I have had to keep items that do not fit due to sizing errors on their part because it is not worth spending $5.99 to return it. That is NOT giving 100% Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed as they claim.

My comment would just be that often the online computer status has not caught up with the availability of items (mostly sale items). Maybe that's understandable & it'd be too hard for them to have up to date info. online.
Otherwise, I've been shopping with Blair for several years & really appreciate the ease at which I can buy items. Thanks! ~Sandy

Dress was not as well made as I would have liked. Clasp fell off first time worn and lost.
Shipping took longer than expected. From Pennsylvania to Ohio should not take 11 days. Luckily it arrived before I left Cleveland.
Also Blair enrolled me in a shopping service which I do not want.

Terrible communication. I was told by 3 different customer service reps. 3 completely different stories. I never did receive my items. I ended up canceling my order. Blair is not ready to do business online. You would think that during these poor and trying economic times, Blair would be bending over backwards to provide superior customer service. They were an excellent company years ago. I guess they don't need the business anymore. I'll never buy from them again and I'm telling everyone I know.

On Oct. 28, 2008 I had ordered a men's suede jog suit in size M for $37 at blair.com. The online sizing chart indicated a size M is perfect for me. On Nov. 4 I received my order. Unfortunately the size M was way to big, actually a size L. So I had to return it back for a size S. $8 was charged for shipping back. On Dec. 3, I received my order. On Nov. 30 $60 was charged. Unfortunately the liner in the right arm was twisted several times, impossible to get my arm through. So I had to return it. Shipping back was free due to defective material. After a phone call and an email I got $36 (Nov. 25) and $24 (Dec. 3) reimbursed. On Jan. 15 I got reimbursed for $37. After all the shipping for and back, charges and reimbursements, emails and phone calls the entire "fun" cost me $8 (return for false size).
My conclusion:
To mark an outfit one size smaller than it really is and charge the customer a fee for ordering an incorrect size is a "profitable" sales trick. Neither Blair's customer service nor their quality control are acceptable. In general it's a very poor performance. I cannot recommend this company!

I don't frequent websites that give me a problem. Blair has such a good history with me that I am mystified as why this order has not come. I called but received insufficient reply. I emailed and that took quite awhile for a response over 2 weeks. I purchased the material in early November for Christmas presents but now that relatives and Christmas is gone, I don't want the purchase the any more. What happened to Blair?
