I love to shop online. B&H photo's web site is top notch for service and great prices. All I needed to know and all the extras are right here.Service was prompt and accurate. I plan on buying from them again.

Overall I was very satisfied with the site and entire shopping experience. Only problem - the eveing I wanted to order the camera the site was down. BH is great! My order arrived earlier than expected. Ordered Sunday night on the web, it got here Tuesday morning, with standard UPS shipping(destination southern NJ). Reassuring emails were sent. (But the order tracking number was invalid, according to the UPS web site. No big deal.)

Their web site was fast and functional. They have an excellent selection of equiptment, stock high quality merchandise and charge reasonable prices. Even thier standard ground shipping was reasonably priced and fast. This is a class operation that has earned a great reputation among serious photo enthusiasts! They provided timely e-mail order and shipping confirmations with convenient tracking links. All items were well packed and arrived undamaged. I would not hesitate to order from them again!

The price of the lens was hard to beat. They processed my on-line order quickly and provided tracking information as soon as it was prepared for pick-up by UPS. I had a problem with UPS and when I called their customer service they were rude. I ended up calling B&H customer service after receiving my product due to their shipping the wrong warranty for the lens. I was put on hold twice for 20 minutes and had to call one number to get the customer service number. But once I got a customer service rep. the problem was corrected.

Very fast. Service was excellent. I will say that the shipping costs were higher than I expected from the original site where I found the store and price listed. However, the level of outer packaging made that cost understandable.

What can I say...ordered my lens at 3:30 p.m. and had it on my doorstep at 9:30 the next morning!! Now that's service! Unlike Adorama that strung me out for three days before admitting they were out of the lens that was to be overnighted to me!

I bought a Canon Rebel TI from B&H because I heard that this store has a good reputation. Here is what I got.

The transaction and shipment went through smoothly.
But I found out that the battery was already installed in the camera when I received it. The battery lasted for only 2 rolls of films. I took it to a local camera store to find out what went wrong. They pointed out the scratches and dust inside the camera and suggested that my camera was used longer than 20 rolls of films.

I called B&H. The associate told me that the Canon manufacture installed the battery in the camera before they shop to B&H. I called Canon service and Canon told me that they NEVER ship cameras with battery!!! B&H lied!

I paid for the price of a new camera but received a used camera from B&H! Watch out guys buying from internet. Even reputable shops have problems.

Ordered a camera on 9/30 paid extra for faster shipping and made purchase only to find out after the purchase was complete that they were on holiday until 10/10/04 too late to cancel order. Received my camera on 10/13/04. Didn't have a camera for the trip I planned wasn't compensated for late delivery emailed them about my displeasure with no reply. I am a repeat customer of theirs and I will not shop there again. They got the money and now I am running from them. Internet "Best Buy Store" poor customer service just like the chain store.

Ordered before Jewish holiday on 9/28/2004. I was billed that day and items were not shipped until 10/10/2004. The items were not supposed to be billed until shipped. I do not feel the company treated me right on this transaction.

The prices were great, the service was "ok". I live outside the USA and had to fax in a copy of the front and back of my credit card, which added a slight delay to getting my package. (Must note, they made this very clear before I ordered that I would have to do this.) The packaging was not done very well. They put my mp3 player at the bottom of the box and tonnes of air-bags on top of it, would have been safer with the tonnes of air-bags around it. Luckily, no damage. :)

I have ordered a Canon Powershot G5 camera with B&H Photo Video. It came with USPS Priority mail 4-7 days and came in 4 business days. I was completely satisfied with my order, even though it was not possible to ship the merchandise for cheaper price via UPS or FedEx.

B&H has a great web site and very competitive prices. It is very easy to navigate. I don't buy any photo gear until I've checked B&H. I've ordered from them many times and I've received the merchandise in good condition. I needed to get a copy of a receipt that was over a year old and B&H came through quickly.

Their order accuracy and customer service are excellent. The only thing I don't like about B&H is their delivery speed. The last time I ordered I canceled the order because they'd not shipped it 48 hours after I made my payment.

In the past the service has been very good. Recently customer service has been quite poor regarding a nearly 3 month back order which I never received, and which had already been paid for. I was given one explanation after another and eventually not responded to. Finally I requested a refund which I was told would be given immediately. I have yet to receive it and have written to my credit card. No, I will not shop here again.

B&H will definitely be my first stop next time I'm in the market for electronics. After researching several DVD player and receiver options all over the net, I decided on a pair of Sonys. Now... where to buy? B&H smoked the competition in terms of price. Total B&H cost, including UPS 3 day shipping, was $56 less than the total price of the same two components had I purchased and picked up at either Best Buy or Circuit City. My order was accurate, well packaged, and arrived at my door step in exactly 3 business days. Judging by most of the other store reviews, I'm not the only satisfied B&H customer... it's a no brainer.

Came here after a bad experience at 42nd St Photo shop. The salesperson was totally knowledgeable of the D70 and recommended accessories that I would need, rather than try to push overpriced non Nikon branded lines onto me. Presented with options, not pushed one way. Very helpful and obliging. You've got to visit this store to see how true professionals run things - not like backyard shonky boys at 42nd St....

International orders great. I live in Spain and have ordered 2 times already through this store. Great prizes and fast delivery through UPS. I got charged everytime at customs but I guess that's normal for a serious shops. Some other shops put less value on your order so you don't have to pay customs. Well I rather prefer a reliable source and pay a little more. Till now great buying experience with them

I have been a B&H customer for many a year.
As I now live overseas I placed my last order over the internet for delivery.
Big mistake.
It is now six weeks later and I have yet to receive my merchandise.
The 'customer service' department have made no attempt to help remedy the situation. They just keep repeating that if I do not receive the merchandise withing 45 days of the original shipment I can file a claim with them. They say they are unable to provide me with a tracking number for the merchandise which I have paid several hundred dollars for. Completely irresponsable, unprofessional and unacceptable.
I WILL NEVER PLACE ANOTHER ORDER WITH THEM AGAIN.

I ordered a lens and a filter for my Nikon D70 on 8/27 (Friday), the next day was weekend, it was expected. 8/30 (Monday) morning I got confirmation number and tracking number, stated that the order was shipped with UPS 3days. Thursday (9/2) morning I received the lens and the filter in good condition. Perfect delivery speed, the order was accurate. Second day, I called customer service for invoice to get rebate. In seconds, it was e-mailed to me. Printed out and mailed out. overall, I was satisfied.

I ordered an expensive camaera lens for overnight deleivery, but the lens was not shipped on time as requested. They won't ship at all unless they confrim your order by phone, so what's the use of using the internet? They still wanted to charge me extra for expedited shipping even though they failed to ship it on time in the first place, so I cancelled the order.
