WHY B&H?
I have ordered a variety of gear over the years from B&H and always loved that they have such a large selection and great pricing. They are also very clear about USA products vs Imports which can make a HUGE difference in warranty work. I haven't been the biggest customer but always went to them because I have family that purchase commerically from them so it always just seemed easist. I shopped around for a new pocket camera, the Olympus Tough series, the 6000 model. I went w/ B&H because they were the only one that offered the memory card adapter for micro sd cards for a similar rate to everyone else w/o the adapter.

What happened?
The camera came and no adapter. It is a boxed product so Olympus should have sent it but as the box itself was not sealed (the shipping box was, not the manufacturer's box for the camera) there is no way of knowing if B&H pulled the adapter(maybe to give it to someone else that had theirs missing too?) or if Olympus left it out in error.

Their response
I contacted B&H who responded saying it was a boxed item and it would be faster and easier to contact Olympus directly. What? - I didn't buy the camera from Olympus directly. But since that was supposed to be the faster and easier way, I called Olympus. I am now 30+ days, 10 calls to Olympus, 8 e-mails and still waiting.

Impression
Why complain about B&H vs. Olympus? Because I bought from B&H and their customer service should be better. They should have sent the adapter to me or sent a replacement camera w/ the adapter and asked for the original back. When I did contact B&H again to ask them about it, they said I chose to contact Olympus directly rather than having them handle it. But if their first response is that it is easier and faster to contact Olympus myself - well what would most of us do? Do I want to sit around and wait? I did what was supposed to be the easiest. If this is easy, I would hate to see what happens if I would have had B&H try to help.

I know that they are thinking. "Go buy the stupid $20+ adapter and get over it". But I have already purchased it WITH the camera, I shouldn't have to buy it again. Do they think I am just claiming to not have received it to just get a spare adapter? Why do I need two?
