Poor service, shipment, and communication; Great site, products and prices

The website is very good, the product selection and prices are great. But their customer relations and order shipment is lousy to put it mildly. I placed an order for some items, one of which was missing. I was informed of this missing item after the order was placed and my credit card was charged.
I waited a few more days and I didn't hear anything from them, so I emailed them to ask about it. They replied by saying that the missing item was shipped to them a couple of days ago and it would be out the door along with my other items as soon as it arrived. That was nearly two weeks ago. Needless to say, nothing came of it.
Since then, I emailed them several times and kept getting the standard response stating that they were still waiting, no apologies, no incentive to make me want to continue to do business with them. A very non-chalant and aloof attitude.
They basically have made no efforts to communicate, and when I tried calling, most of the time both their toll-free and regular phone lines were busy. When I did get through, the phone would ring, ultimately going to some voice mail no matter which option I chose from the phone menu. I left messages twice, but the calls were never returned.
Finally, I gave up and told them to cancel the order. They don't have any sense of managing a relationship. They just seem to be shooting from the hip and the impression it leaves me with is that they couldn't be bothered with such a situation at all. So, what can I say, I will find those products elsewhere. The company overall may be good, but they have a lack of organization and communication to address.
