Aubuchon Hardware

It is difficult to answer the above questions, because I had made my selections on the basis of internet photos. I ordered WHITE shelf paper-- which I interpreted as "bright white"; however, what I actually received is a cream-colored product. I had hoped the product purchased would match the paper I had already installed, but it does not. However,I can find other uses for it in less conspicuous locations. This is NOT the fault of the merchant, because the labeling on the merchandise (theoretically placed there by the manufacturer) describes the product as "white." This was, indeed, a huge disappointment, but to repeat, the merchant is not at fault. My only comment relative to the merchant is that the product appeared to be relatively old.

order to ship time to long, shipped each item in its own box with its own postage cost, package was received before tracking number was emailed with notification, order was but on hold pending backorder of out of stock item instead of sending what they had.

Absolutely horrible. Item was packaged 3 days after order, and then nothing happened. Sent email to retailer on day 9, recieved no response. Called on day 11, was told I would get callback on same day, never received callback. Contacted retailer on day 12 to cancel order, was told it had shipped previous day (retailer could not cancel shipment)advised to refuse delivery. On day 12 recieved email with tracking info also, at that time identified that order was incomplete. Refused delivery.

My order arrived 7 days after I placed it. When I opened the box, only half of the items I had ordered were in it, even though the packing list showed them all. When I called customer service, they were very nice, but had no idea why the items were missing, as they all showed in stock. They said that they would "email the warehouse", and then call me back to let me know what the story was. Of course, no one ever called me back. When I called back the next day, they had shipped the missing items, but had no info on what had happened or why. When the 2nd shipment finally arrived, its (photocopied) packing list showed all the items from the original order, not just the ones in that shipment, and no explanation or acknowledgment. This was my second order from Aubuchon Hardware. The first one had been for a large and expensive ($30) light bulb, which was shipped loose and completely unprotected in an oversize box, and of course arrive damaged. They sent me 2 replacements in a row exactly the same way, with zero packing, which of course arrived DOA. I decided to give them a second chance with this order, but that's it.

The company site was very easy to use. I had a light bulb I was having a hard time finding. So I googled the item number. It took me to your site and the correct product was pulled up. It also showed other choices for similar products.

I was able to find a couple of plumbing parts that were not available at my local Lowes or Home Depot. However, after receiving my order, it took them a number of days to ship and then the so called tracking info just tells you it was given to the post office.... so you have no idea when it will arrive. At this point I am still waiting and wondering when the items will arrive.

Company did not send an order confirmation. No way to track the status and shipping information with this order - until the order was actually shipped.

The order arrived on 4/27, and the Gel Gloss had come open and sprayed out. The box was wet in several areas, and everything inside was soaked. The can of Gel Gloss was about half-empty. It seemed like it took a while for the order to arrive, but I don't remember how much time the seller said it should take. I had no problems other than the condition the products arrived in.

I had been searching for a rectangular bucket that I could use with my sponge mop and could not find one at local retailers, even those that carry the brand of bucket I purchased from you. I was glad to find what I was searching for, and find it conveniently.

Upon finding all the local stores were sold out, I went on line and ordered a Japanese Beetle Trap from these guys. However what they sent were only the replacement bags. The product description on the site, and on the packing list clearly say "beetle trap". Customer service said the word "bags" is visible in the product photo on the catalogue page, and as such, I could return the item for credit (at my expense for shipping). They refused to even admit that their description was misleading. I would have been OK with buying the traps and having them send pick up the S&H, but no go. IMHO, THESE GUYS ARE A JUST A LOCAL HARDWARE STORE WITH A WEB SITE - THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE "e" BUSINESS. I would not buy from these guys again.

I would shop again any time at Aubuchons, online or in the stores. I found basically anything I needed on their site at lower prices then their competitors. The delivery was fast and order just as advertised. I didn't even need to talk to customer service but I assume it's as good as the way they presented themselves to me already.

Aubuchon Hardware is just like having your hometown hardware right next door!! They have ANYTHING you are looking for...if I ever can't find something ...Aubuchon will have it!! The shipping is supper fast and their pricing is competative.

I did price comparisons on Gila window film and will NOT shop at this store as a result. They're much more expensive than other places (like Home Depot) AND a lot more expensive than even Gila directly. Not satisfied at all with pricing.

They obviously don't bother to update their products on their web site. Some items still listed have been discontinued. Wouldn't recommend them at all.
