Normally I don't buy online and visit my local very nice jewelry store instead. Well I did buy a watch online this time around and purchased an Ebel Beluga for $ 2,750 from Ashford.com.
This was a very unsatisfying and very time consuming bad shopping experience
Be AWARE: Both of my $ 2,750 Ebel watches I had ordered were clearly not NEW as Ashford describes their products on the website.
The first watch lost the screw of the band after just three times wearing the watch. Ashford recommended having my local jeweler fix this problem. Well, that didn't work.
After that experience, I was offered to exchange this watch with the same model. The second watch Ashford shipped to me could not hold the correct time and ran approximately 2 hours behind. When I contacted the customer service again they were very impolite and not willed to refund me after all that bad experience. I had to fight with a very impolite supervisor who told me that they only refund unworn merchandise which is in resalable condition! Did he intend to resell that watch? I guess that's the kind of QUALITY, NEW watch Asford shipped me two times!
