Many online stores have an easy return policy. This one charges 20% restocking as well as the return postage. I should have gone to a local store instead. The same merchandise is available through lighting stores.

I placed an online order five days ago, and I still have not received ANY acknowledgement of my order. I've tried searching for my order on Arcadian Lighting's website, but it can never locate my order. I have sent the company two emails and have not received ANY response. I tried calling them, but the calls continue to roll over to voice mail. I finally received a call from them, apparently a result of my previous email, on the same day my order was delivered.  POOR COMMUNICATION is my impression of Arcadian Lighting. I will be hesitant to use them in the future.

This was an extraordinary shopping experience. I love the lamp, but there was an inaccurate detail in the description from the manufacturer (saying that it had a dimmer). When I contacted Arcadian Lighting about this discrepancy, their communication was swift and outstanding. They offered me several gracious options to correct the situation. I kept the lamp and purchased a dimmer on my own. I would shop at Arcadian again and recommend it for any lighting needs.

Website does not indicate that they are a non stocking wholesaler. Once your order is placed they place it with the manufacturer and from there Arcadian has little or nothing they can do about the shipping. The people are friendly enough but can only do so much.

i would purchase from this supplier only if their products were specified. I had to return a few bollards as they did not work. This caused delay in finishing the project by our deadline.

Although Arcadian seems to have the best selection available in lamps that I prefer, I do not know if I would use them again. If I could purchase the same item for approximately the same price from a different merchant, I would do that. It was several days before the company informed me that they actually had the product and would send it. Another item I attempted to purchase was plagued by delays, many months, so I cancelled the order. If an item is not available, it should not be listed - that, or a statement should be added to its listing stating that the item is not currently available but will be by a certain date. The unexpected delays were quite frustrating.

I was called by Arcadian Lighting when I first purchased my ceiling fan on line. In error I ordered one that works on a 220 line. If the young lady I spoke with did not catch that and call me, I would have had to return it for a 110 line. She saved me a lot of trouble. Definetly order from this company again. A major piece, the glass cover of the halogen bulb came broken, but they only give you 7 days to contact them about broken pieces. It took more than 7 days to arrange for the electrician to come out and install it. Fortunately he was able to use the cover from the fixture being replaced...that fixture-the exact same one, came with a broken connection and never worked properly, but it was months before the remodeled bathroom was ready for the fixture to be installed and at that point I couldn't get a replacement or complain. Arcadian Lighting was fine with the order, but this is the 2nd time that this style fixture had something wrong with it. The manufacturer is getting away from their responsibility.

It took longer than anticipated to get the light fixture, due to snow closures at the plant. Arcadian staff was very helpful in tracking down the fixture and determining delivery date. Fixture arrived in excellent shape, was relatively easy to install, and looks gorgeous. We are very pleased and would buy from them again.
