We first saw this light fixture in a local upscale lighting store. It listed for approx $240, PLUS they didn't have it in stock and would have charged us shipping and tax, bringing the total price to almost $300. We recd FREE shipping from Arcadian plus an additional 5% discount as new customers, so saved at least $120. The fixture arrived well packaged, in perfect condition, in about 2 weeks. The local vendor couldn't promise sooner than 6 to 8 weeks delivery and warned us that there would be a MINIMUM 25% restocking fee if we weren't happy with the light. Needless to say, Arcadian will be our first choice from now on!!!

I ordered 3 ceiling-light fixtures. One was on back-order but two were shipped immediately and I would rate the whole process as excellent. The third fixture arrived later but the globe was broken. I called Arcadian, was treated very nicely, and was told that a replacement globe would be sent within 24-48 hours. I haven't received it yet but there has not been sufficient time. However, if they follow through as promised I would say that the whole experience was excellent and I would shop at Arcadian again.

Tracking just let us know when it was expected to ship rather than when it left and where it was in its progress. Arcadian wasn't to blame, but the screws to attach the light were too short and we had to purchase new ones, which meant the knobs that were to go on the screws given were no longer useable. Since they were hidden, it doesn't really matter except it was a nice finishing touch.

The initial contact was ok, and the prices fair. But no indication of order tracking until weeks later after I inquired. Also, I may add that they have put a very bad taste in my mouth with a recent "Sale" the davertised 15% off, and the same trims I ordered only weeks before were raised 20% - that stinks! Some sale, I bought the same fixture at Elights for their original price! Some 110% guarantee, would not shop an unscrupulous company like this again. PS - this was a $2500.00 order!!! So was the Elights order!

One light shade was flawed when it arrived but Arcadian was very prompt in sending a new one and did not ask for me to return the old one which would have required postage at one end or the other. They simply trusted my judgement that the fixture needed to be replaced and were very timely and cordial in all our exchanges.
