I spent a great deal of time picking out items and placing a large order. I received a confirmation e-mail that included a date by which I should expect my order to arrive. I waited and waited but the order never arrived. I eventually found out that my order was canceled by their fulfillment center because I used a gift card and a credit card (which apparently is no longer allowed). No one bothered to let me know that my order was canceled until I called them to ask about it.

Ordering online from Ann Taylor was a HUGE waste of my time. Customer service is non-existent and they never resolved this issue for me. I was a regular customer for many years, but they made no attempt keep me as a customer.

I placed two orders on the same day. I decided to call their toll-free number to see if I could combine the orders and save on shipping. I was on hold for 22 minutes before I gave up and wrote an email instead. This email was never answered.

It is now almost three weeks since I placed the orders. One package did arrive quickly. The other has still not arrived. I contacted the post office (and also tracked it myself online) and they know it is in my area but they don't know where specifically. Obviously, this problem is 95% the fault of the postal service, BUT I have also contacted Ann Taylor customer service three times and have not been able to get through on the phone, and have not gotten a follow-up email other than the automatic response that comes as soon as you submit an email to them. I think this is unacceptable. I expect timely responses to my complaints. I think they should stop using the unreliable U.S. postal service as their standard delivery system. I think they need to hire more people if they can't keep up with the volume of customer service needs.
