Horrible customer service!!!! We ordered a jacket for our daughter for Christmas, had to exchange it for another, that needed to be shipped. I'm ok with that, but they shipped the wrong size, we caught it the day it was shipped, called customer service, and their response was too bad. When it arrives, bring that one back, and we will ship you a new one. That's wait 2 weeks for it to get there, drive back to the store, and wait another 2 weeks for your item. If I wanted it ( the right size) I needed to purchase a second one so they would ship it. Spoke with a supervisor, and her response was the same... too bad. Customer service 0

I love American Eagle Outfitters. Their clothing is trendy and it is not too expensive. Sometimes it is hard to shop on their online. I don't see as much to shop for, like other slothing stores. They have a small store. I would like to see more clothing online. I would like to see more apparel and a line of shoes that have more sass other than flip flops. I would like to see a wide variety of jeans in longer sizes for tall people like myself. I would love to wear their jeans but they cater to shorter people it seems. I would love to wear them. I have loved the store but the quality sometimes isn't that great for what you pay for. They have a cute style and easy to wear. I love to see some heels with American Eagle Style and longer length in jeans. Everything else is fine.

I have been to american eagle many times and purchased many things. I recently bought a pair of flip flops and i loved them....BEFORE they broke. about two weeks later, i had to use super glue to glue the front back together. that was only the 1st time they broke. unfortunately, the 2nd time they broke I was at school and had no other shoes to wear, and i had to use a stapler and tape to make them last 2 hours, i ended up having to take them off. its pretty pathetic that these flip flops cant even withstand the everyday task of walking- ironicly thats what they were made for. If you want a crappy pair of flip flops, shop here, if not i advise you to buy them elsewhere.

I placed an order on March 1. March 23--no order received. I have made numerous calls. They just tell you to go to the post office and see if they can find your order there or tell you to call back after so many days. When I said I just wanted a refund (They charged my credit card on March 2) they said well it will be X number of business days to get a response from corporate and then x number of business days to get a refund issued to your credit card. It's like I have to wait until they find the package to give me a refund! I buy online frequently. Won't ever buy from these guys again. No customer service. They act like they don't know anything about anything. Not sure what they are there for??

Veteran online shopper had very bad experience with ae.com. Holiday order contained totally wrong sizes. Warehouse closed shipping yesterday (Dec. 21) and they have no options for delivery of correct merchandise by Christmas even though I ordered on time and the mistake was theirs. I got nowhere with customer service. This is shoddy warehouse/shipping work done in haste. I will not shop at the site ever again.

I was appalled when I made a purchase of a Christmas gift on the AE website. I found a great jacket for my nephew in Texas (I live in Oakland, Calif.). I completed the required ordering and billing information, filled out a gift card, ordered gift wrap and as I hit the purchase button, I instantly realized the screen for shipping address had never come up--whether a glitch in the website or my error, I'm unsure... but I thought "no problem, I'll call customer service." Within a minute or two I had customer service on the line, only to be told that once I hit the purchase button, the order could not be changed or even cancelled! I explained my dilemma, and that if the gift came to California first it would never get to Texas on time. I exhausted the customer service rep, and went on to a supervisor to be told the same thing. I do 80% of all my shopping online, and have NEVER run across this issue. This is an appalling way to do business and I will never shop at AE again.

I love American Eagle the Brand and the online store is just another part of their success. When you want an item but don't have time to wait in the long lines of crazed teens and fast paced shoppers then the online route is perfect. Shopping is fast and easy and the site is set up well. Shipment comes fast when possible most hold ups are not their fault. They even ship to some places outside the U.S. The prices are also great It is one of the few sites you find great sales on great items. There jeans are awsome! and most of the things you buy fit so be ready to wear them. NO Send Backs! I would consider opening an account if you approve because I'm sure it won't be you last time shopping. Also redeem your coupons online.

American eagles service is very impressive and defiantly the most fashionable , reliable and exceptionally priced store in the market today. Teen are intrigued to shop there and enjoy showing off the name brand. American eagle has single handedly took over the advertising competition against Hollister, Abercrombie and Fitch, ext.. They have modest and nice clothing. The clothing there is very durable and well made. I can personally see why most of Americas tens have chosen ae as their 1# store. The summer is here and they are ahead of everyone in the clothing business by promoting their bathing suits and summer wear online. For everyone in the Clothing business watch out!

I have been shopping at American Eagle Outfitters for sometime, but I recently discovered the online store. There are some great deals online. And you have to love how they let you see the details in their jeans (which I think are one of the best lines of jeans around).

The customer service is helpful and it didn't take too long to get my order. I still have to say that you can find a lot of sale items online that you can not find in the stores.

I love their clothes, so whether I don't feel like going to the mall or it's personal items that I don't want to get in the store I shop on their online store. All of the clothes there fit so well. Also the online store has more options than our store. Last time I ordered something from the store I got the wrong size of boot, so I sent it back but they ran out of the next size up. After they got notice that I was sending them back they immediately sent me an e-mail that they ran out of the size that I wanted.

The selection at AE is huge. I can look online for the shirt I want, and if they don't have it, I just can go to one of the 2 AE stores within 10 minutes of my house. Prices are affordable and the cloths look great too.

Customer service was un-needed because there were no problems. Staff inside the stores are very helpful in selecting the right size for you.

Great online store. Great customer service, easy return. Basically an easy transaction AND you receive your items fast. The only problem I have with their website is the color of their items. I don't think it is my computer otherwise there's a problem with everyone's computer. Anyway, my problem is that when you see an item on their site and actually receive the item in your hand, the color is usually a little off. Please keep this in mind! A couple of examples: Off white is actually light tan, dusty pink is actually hot pink. I have had to return a couple of items already because of this. I also believe that the color is a little off to make the product more appealing. Most online stores do this so it is no surprise. Just some are worse than others.

I like American Eagle. I mean, I love American Eagle whether it's online or at a retail location. They always have great sales and exclusive discount coupons for frequent shoppers. Shipping is inexpensive and quick. Online selection is just what you would find at the store and there are extra sizes too!

If you need to return anything, you can go to the store or mail it back. They credit your account quickly!
