I remember when the brick and mortar American Eagle came to our mall- I was a senior in high school then and their jeans were great because they came in a petite size 0. Even though I'm way out of high school, still this place carries the jeans that fit me just right and yes, in the petite size 0. Only I feel a little...um....old going into the store now- with young teenagers calling me ma'am and such. Hey....I'm not that old, am I? So, I choose to shop online at ae.com

American Eagle sells clothing and shoes for guys and gals- mainly those in their teens would probably like these outfits, and also those pre-teens out there. Also, I found out online that they are starting a kids line called Kids77 that will launch in a few days- oh boy can't wait to see that! They also carry undergarments and sometimes fragrance stuff as well.

It's easy to shop there- you can shop by size or by category, and since I don't work any more I don't really have to worry about looking professional- I just need basic tops and jeans. I had a pair of clogs several years ago from here that I loved so I decided to get another pair- a pair of AE cord clogs for $29. This is one of the few places that I have found that carries a size 5- and they carry up to size 11 in ladies shoes.

I also ran upon a sale where you could buy one hooded sweatshirt and get one half off- sweet! So I bought one at $39 then another was half off. Not only do they carry jeans, hoodies, and polos, but they have dressier tops as well that run anywhere from $20-$40.

Sizes run from XXS-XL and there's a size chart to help you out. Also in the jeans I mentioned before they carry a short inseam, and they also carry a long, regular, and x-tra long.

As far as ordering goes, as soon as you enter all your necessary info and pay via major credit card or AE card, you get an email letting you know your order was received. Let me mention here that AE participates in the Ebates program where you get a percentage of your purchase price back. Also by using Ebates I found a sweet coupon code for free shipping.

I spent about $100 and also had to pay tax, but no shipping cost- so that was good if you ask me. In a few days I got an email along with a USPS tracking link letting me know my stuff had shipped and it came within a few days and everything was right with my order.

Overall, a nice place to shop- sure they may be a tad expensive but at least I can find stuff to fit me! I would recommend it.
