I have loved shopping with Amerimark.This company has always been very fair and fairly speedy with delivery and order accuracy. Their customer service is very good. However, today I nearly got scammed there. I am a rewards member; I shop with them often. They had a make up foundation on sale for 1.38, but at the checkout the price changed to 6.99. I nearly didn't catch it; but when I noticed it, I called customer service. The lady offered to take my order on the phone and give me the make up at the 1.38 advertised price. But when she took off my 5% discounts, they were still charging me more shipping than I am supposed to pay as a member (1.99) and her figures were still about 5.00 off. I could not get her to see where the discrepancy was, and I figured that the make up was still going into the computer at 5.00 more than advertised. I decided just to forget about the make up base and buy the other things on-line to get my discounts. This is the first time I have doubted Amerimark's integrity. If these on-line companies are going to try to skip out on the discounts, why don't they just come out and say, "We are not going to give discounts," rather than try to make you think you are getting a better deal when you aren't. Shoppers with all companies have to be very careful these days. The prices advertised are often not what we pay for them.
