Ordered a jacket two weeks before Christmas and received it on time and in fine fashion. I am working in the Middle-East. It was a convenient and pleasing experience. Hard to find good, dependable retailers any more.

I tried selling a few things on Amazon.com, then since one of my shipments was a day late they locked me out of my account with no prior notice so I can't access my orders and they won't give me my money, it's been 5 months now and I don't have the money for my items and I don't even know how many people placed orders and are not receiving them. I looked into this and they have been doing this to a LOT of people. They will rip you off! They literally have non-existent customer service. Don't trust them!

WORST Experience ever in my 12 years of shopping online.
My experience:

(a) "Price" can not be trusted. (and not always the lowest if you do comparison shopping - and use price comparison search engines.)

(b) "Low Price means nothing" if you don't receive your product.

(c) "A Rebate ad from Amazon" can be canceled anytime, weeks after the order is placed.

(d) "Customer Service" is Terrible. Can not talk to anyone but a clerk for issues that require more help.

(e) "Trustworthy & Reliability": You don't know if you will receive the product until it arrives at your door.

Shopping at Amazon was a gamble when same product is sold a few dollars more elsewhere. A $3.00 saving turned into a $70.00 Loss, when a "National Sales Day" opportunity ended.

Reliability to receive a product is worth more than the few pennies I thought I'd save.

Have never had a dull or difficult experience with Amazon. Plenty of choices in publishers, new or used. I particularly like the free shipping with larger orders; I always buy more than one thing at a time so always free ship. Never a problem or lost shipment. Even the used book sellers have been great. I have never bought anything except books, music, and movies from them.

this was a terrible experience. Beach Audio advertises on amazon that the razor i ordered for Christmas was in stock. they didn't ship, or notify me that it wasn't due in until after christmas until i called. Great policy. i will never buy from them again.

Completely deceitful! Advertised Free shipping on the order page for this very product. I was in the process of ordering quantity two of this item totalling over $100. At the end when the final order came up on the screen, they had ADDED SHIPPING and sales tax!

I wrote to them and two weeks later they NEVER BOTHERED TO REPLY.

I have had multiple experiences where no tax or shipping is advertised on the Bot, but when you try and buy it, you get charged for both.

What ever happened to packing material??? I ordered a paperback book that was 1000+ pages that was meant to be a gift. Well it arrived in a large box with nothing to protect the pages from getting bent or the cover from getting dirty. It was just roaming around that big box with nothing, and I mean NOTHING for protection. Not even a single sheet of bubble wrap was thrown in! Luckily the damage was minimal, but it could have been much worse.

Fast delivery but very misleading when it comes to the totals of the invoice. I ordered a digital camera through Amazon which was actually sold by one of their 3rd party sellers. What a surprise I had when learning that the seller was in NJ and that I was charged sales tax. Neither Amazon or the 3rd party(Adorama Camera) informed me of this on the order which I approved. It should up on an order confirmation and I was unable to stop the shipment. Watch out for these guys!
