My motive of writing this review is purely because my seller account just got suspended by Amazon.com. They just shot me an email saying that I can no long sell on amazon. Their reason was they had evidence to show that I was related to some previous amazon seller that was suspended. I got all confused. I have been on amazon for years. I used to sell my used textbooks, now I sell movies online while I am running my own video store. So far the selling experience was great except for one buyer asked for a full refund because the box of a movie got damaged during delivery. I didn't argue with the buyer and stated that I would refund the cost for the movie, but not the shipping cost, and I WOULD pay the buyer the postage to send the movie back to me. I think the buyer got misunderstood and claimed that he/she would leave me a negative feedback since I wouldn't refund the whole thing. Then I refunded the buyer everything and also notified her/him that I would not pay extra for her/him to send me back the movie. I literally refunded everything I received. I never heard from that buyer again. I do not think the buyer would return me the movie. The buyer may have complained to Amazon or whatsoever. I mean even Nordstrom would not pay customers the shipping fees to return any items while their return policies are known for excellence. E-commerce has its natural flaws which all successful transactions are based on the trust in every party involved. If one of the parties is dishonest, the transaction would have been bad. Amazon as the middle man takes side. They take customers side. They are bad at handling the natural flaws of e-commerce already. They should have not taken sides at all. eBay has a better system to handle trust from both parties. On the other hand, like other reviewers' experiences, Amazon sellers cannot defense ourselves in anyway. Amazon does not communicate with sellers. They close down seller accounts for unknown reasons. They do not give sellers opportunities to defense. And the suspended sellers won't be able to sell ever again. Like some sellers said, "I have done everything right". But to Amazon, they don't care. They took the commissions and fees. The only thing I chose Amazon over eBay was because Amazon makes the fees up front. It makes it look simpler, not cheaper for the sellers to manage. However sellers do not have any protection at all!
