It was a pleasure to order from a web site that I didn't have to creat an account for. This was the only site I found that carried the Hepa filter for my Honeywell air machine. I will be back to reorder again.

On January 10th, I placed an order on line for the EL7025A which showed 9 in stock. On the 11th I received an eamil requesting I fill out a credit card authorization form which I did late that evening. I continued to get this email request for the form for another week, almost every day. When I tried to call the number and extension listed in the notice, I received a "mailbox full" and "goodbye". I finally called the sales number instead of the customer service number and spoke with Mark. Mark indicated that they had corrected the "mailbox full' issue (I never checked it to verify) and stated that for some reason, they had entered the ship-to address as the billing address (my email confirmation on 1/10/08 had it right!) in their system thus the order was still on hold after a week! Mark cleared that up and called me back to advise that now the problem was that there were none left in inventory!!!!!. Later that same day, 1/17/08, I received an email notice of shipment referring to a tracking number that was not included in the email. When I was able to connect with Mark again on the 21st of January, he looked into it and advised that they had not really shipped the item because they had not received the material from their supplier as had been promissed for the 17th. Now the promised date is 1/24/08! I will wait the few days to see if this latest committment is met only because of Mark's efforts to help get this business transaction completed. If he can not make it happen by the 27th, I will have to cancel the order and try to find another merchant that has systems in place to actually deliver!

The worst online transaction i ever delt with. You call these people you can't get though, you e-mail them and they don't reply. You something they take your money and never send you the product. I had to have my credit card company fight these people to get my $560 back. over 30 days i have been waiting for a solution. BEWEARE !!!

I sent an email to the company email address (info@allergybegone.com) with my order number hoping to get an idea of when to expect shipment but never heard back. At this point, I'm probably going to have to call to get the issue resolved.

I ordered 4 replacement filters for Hunter Air Purifier. Their price was the best I could find. I paid for it by my Paypal account. A week later I called them because I did not received the item nor heard anything from them. They told me it was back ordered for another 10 days. I patiently waited, but they did not ship it. I called again about 20 days after the initial placement of my order and cancelled my order. I've been calling them every day since then about a week because they have not refunded my money. They got my money on the same day I place my order and they are very slow to refund my money although they had used my money for free for 20 days. I filed my complain with Paypal so that they would not drag it on for 45 days from the initial order when I lose my right to dispute the claim.
I think they attract people with almost outrageously low prices and they don't deliver after they get paid for the items. |

I initially hesitated placing the order with this merchant after having called by phone 5 TIMES and sending 3 E-MAILS to confirm stock availability with no answer or replies. The website listed the item as being in stock. Actually, someone did answer the phone once. He seemed to be terribly lost and after I supplied him with the product code number, he simply hung up the phone without providing me with the answer! I had to send another 3 e-mails from the second week to the third week, to get a status on the order. This on-line merchant seems to have communication problems.
I received the order a full 4 weeks after it was placed but I was billed for it on the same day! They're the first mail order or Internet merchant I've dealt with that bills the order before shipping it!
I certainly didn't expect them to declare a value of $100 on the commercial invoice in order to be moved into an even higher customs brokerage fee bracket and pay even more Canadian sales taxes than I should! The actual value of the order was only $69.99!
I e-mailed the merchant twice complaining about the terrible service but never received an apology or reply. I should have followed my gut feeling and not placed this order as this has been a very frustrating and disappointing shopping experience.

They scammed me too. Immediately charged my credit card, but sent emails saying that my item was back ordered. Tried calling their customer service number multiple times, never got through, tried to use the voice mail option, it says the mailbox won't allow messages, tried to use the option 1 which is for sales, no one answers that one. Called the credit card company to report the scam, they are filing a dispute resolution, have cancelled my credit card because who knows what this company may do with my credit info. So now I get to spend the holidays without a credit card. The credit card company gave me the New York number to call, 718-832-8075, which also doesn't work. Big surprise there.

Ordered in-cabin air filters for an automobile. Wrong filters were sent since they were incorrectly labeled by OEM. However, after receiving a Return Authorization from Allergy Be Gone, I never received a refund nor replacement filters. I did send the incorrect filters back to the company at my own expense on a next day delivery. Calls to Customer Service were unbelievably rude and non productive. Writing letter to NY Attorney General right after I hit the send button.

On 9/6, I placed an order on Amazon.com for a Hoover Agility steam cleaner, that was supposed to be filled by AllergyBeGone.com. The expected ship date was 9/10-9/17. There were allegedly products available.
On 9/13, I attempted to contact AllergyBeGone. No one was available. On 9/14, I attempted the same contact. No one was available. On 9/14, I sent an e-mail to the company through Amazon.com's website, and finally received a CURT response from Jason Perez two days later. After several days of rude correspondance with Jason Perez, AllergyBeGone indicated they oversold on that item, and that they were on backorder from Hoover. Well, SURPRISE TO ME, I received a cancellation notice from Amazon.com today, 9/19 -- 13 days after my order was placed. When I contacted AllergyBeGone customer service today, I was, once again, treated rudely and told that there is nothing they can do. It's "Hoover's fault". DO NOT BUY FROM ALLERGY BE GONE! |
