UPDATE--As of 1/20/09-- It looks like I may be getting a refund afterall. Today my credit account is showing a pending credit. It took the merchant a week, though, to give it back instead of the 2-3 days as promised. I am still going with a different merchant and would not recommend this one.

Nicely laid out website but...

This was only my first order I've ever made with this merchant and it's already my last! I placed my order on Jan 2, 2009 and was charged for the item on Jan 5, 2009 (the next business day due to the weekend). It's now Jan 13, 2009 and not even a status update on my order was available through the website.

On Jan 12, 2009 I called their "customer service" number and couldn't get through because of busy signals. Finally, I got through only to be put on hold for what seemed like eternity. After waiting 20 minutes on hold, I hung up.

Today, Jan 13, 2009, I once again called and got a busy signal. I tried again, and got through within a couple minutes. Some guy came on the line. He told me my order was backordered. But I had told him that I received no info (email or otherwise) notifiying me of my order status. I asked him to cancel my order and he said he did.

According to this guy, my order is cancelled and I should get a refund within 2-3 days. However, by the way it looks from other customers' feedback on this site (and others) I shouldn't hold my breath about getting a refund. I intend to notify my bank, especially since this guy I spoke to only asked for my order number, but not my name, my address, or even what I had ordered to at least confirm he had the correct order to begin with! Most oddly, while on the phone, it sounded like he was playing music in the background.

Oh, I also thought I had free shipping, but I was charged for that too.

In other words, I was charged for a product and charged to ship that product--on a product that was never shipped.

Arghh! I ordered something for my asthma and now I am stuck without it, only to wait longer as I try to get it somewhere else.
