The basic customer service reps are not good at all, the only people who knew anything and helped were supervisors or managers. The one poster I wanted was not available and has been out of stock, AND discontinued for several weeks yet to this day I am looking at it right now as it remains on the web site. Other than that AllPosters.com is great! Great selection, high quality and good prices.

The day I ordered a print for my wife, 10 days before Christmas, the web site guaranteed delivery by Christmas, but here it is Christmas Eve and the package didn't come. I called customer service yesterday and they said if I didn't receive it Christmas Eve to go to my post office and it would be there for pick up. But I drove to my post office and they didn't have it so I wasted the trip. Now customer service says it won't come today after all. Moral of story, order from somewhere else since these prints are all over the internet, and the Grinches as Allposters clearly don't know customer service.

The delivery time for the poster I ordered was supposed to be 2-4 weeks to Australia. It took 6 weeks. I ordered the poster based on a frame I had already bought. When I received the poster I found that it was too small for the frame. This is because when Allposters converts the size of posters from inches to cms they round up the figure. So my poster which was supposed to be 51cm x 41cm is actually 50.8cm by 40.8cm. Only a small difference, but enough to mean that the poster won't fit in the frame, without matting which I didn't want.

Terrible experience and it isn't over yet. I overlooked the delays in receiving the product - these things happen sometimes. But after returning the product, I heard nothing (no refund). A few weeks later I sent an email and the response was nonsensical. Another email, more nonsense. Finally it became apparent they didn't believe they had received the return even though I had confirmation from my shipper, with date and time of receipt. After several phone calls, they found that in fact they did receive the item and said they would credit immediately. We're coming up on three months now. I gave up and am letting my credit card company handle it. This company gives you the run around and makes many false promises. This is the worst experience I have ever had while shopping online. If you aren't sure you will keep the item, DO NOT order from allposters.com.

The time it took this company to process my order was 4 days. It was then another 2 days to ship my 3 posters that all said they were in stock and should ship within 24 hours. They used DHL@home shipping which is described as:

DHL has partnered with the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) to create a new service designed for business-to-residence shippers who desire a secure, cost-effective shipping solution. Shipments are picked up by DHL and delivered directly to your customers by the local post office.

Cost-effective is definitely not the word for it since I still payed $7 to ship three posters. The posters are NOT at my local post office at this moment, they are at a post office that is an hour from my house. It has now been 2 weeks since I placed my order and I am very dissatisfied with this experience. I will not order from them again.

The web site said my print would be "mounted on a wood board and sealed with an acrylic finish to protect the image from dust and moisture." What I received was more like a cheap birthday card. For this, I paid $16 plus shipping and handling. I plan to return the product.

Since I placed my order months ago I have received nonstop spam from Allposters, no matter how many times I have clicked the option to unsubscribe. I contacted customer service about this, but never received a response.

It took quite a long time of searching their website before I placed my order. A full 24 hrs. after placing my order, I received the message that the items I ordered were discontinued. It sure would have been nice if their online inventory would have been updated BEFORE I wasted my time shopping there.

Hands down, Allposters has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Three times I ordered a certain 28 X 20 poster, and three times they sent me an 8" X 6" print of a different order number. Email correspondence is so frustrating. When they do actually reply (after sending me auto-replies) I get responses that vary from keep the wrong item and donate it to return it (again???!!!) for exchange. Not cost effective for the customer who bears the cost and the inconvenience of the return. Phone calls to their customer service and corporate headquarters were another complete waste of time. They took my number on both occasion, said they'd investigate and either call back or send an email, and nothing ever happens. No call backs, no emails. I'll never deal with them again. It's not worth the risk that they'll send out the wrong item, and the customer bears the cost. It's been nearly 2 months of frustration, and now I'd just like a refund. Still waiting...Hoping with this review to save others from these headaches.

I ordered a framed print mid February, it took a little bit longer than I expected to arrive but when it did arrive it was the wrong print. Customer service said "no problem I will take care of that," two weeks later the wrong print arrived again. In the mean time they have charged my credit card and received their money! Customer service said "no problem I will take care of that." A week later when I called to check order they had no record of there being a problem and no new order on file. "No problem I will take care of that!" When I still did not get the order and spoke with a manager...you guessed it, "No problem I will take care of that." I finally received the order today, guess what.... WRONG PRINT!!!! Now we can only wait and see if they refund my money like they say they will!!!

Placed an order shortly before Christmas (yeah, yeah, I'm a last minute shopper :-), and selected overnight delivery. Not only did they miss the delivery, they missed the next day too, and the day after that (even after continued assurances it would be here). Shipping was via DHL (who's customer service was bordering on mean) -- I wish I'd never found their web site.

I recently bought a Disney poster for my son. I was looking for Snow White and the dwarfs. I could find very limited choices on this theme on the Internet. I chose them because the item was a little cheaper than at other stores. But, when I got the poster I found out that the store displays misleading or at least incomplete information about poster's dimensions. On their web site says the poster is 14x11 in. Yes, the whole cardboard of the poster is as advertised but the actual image hardly reaches 8x10 and is framed into lots of white borders. I wonder if a postcard image (4x6) is framed into a 14x11 matte are they going to say the poster is still 14 by 11? So beware when you buy from them. Call them first and ask specific questions (as I didn't do it).
The quality of this specific poster is below my expectations as well. It's very blurry. So that's how I got a loss.
On the other hand it doesn't make sense to send it back. Both S&H will cost me almost as much as the poster.
It also took 48 hours for processing not 24.
