The items I ordered from AllPosters.com were just as I expected for the amount of money I paid. Heavy quality paper made me very happy. I had previously ordered posters from another company online, and they arrived in a thin tube that was damaged in shipping, which ruined the contents. So even though I took a chance ordering again from a different company, AllPosters.com pleasantly surprised me! They're shipping was better protected and an excellent experience.

This merchant mis-represented their shipping policies on their website. One of the items I purchased was a birthday gift and the merchant website said that item would be shipped the same day as long as the order was received by 5pm. I submitted my order at 10am on a Friday morning. When I emailed customer service, they said that they do not process or ship orders on weekends. Friday is a business day and this was not a holiday, there was no reason that my order should not have been shipped that Friday, for receipt the following Monday. It was unsatisfactory that the merchant said one thing about shipping when I ordered and then didn't follow through with what they promised. It is possible that I will shop at this merchant again, but most likely only if I can't find an item somewhere else.

I do not feel proper representation of the availability was given on the web site at purchase time; it stated order should ship within 3-5 days, it has now been 3-weeks and I have not even received notification the order has shipped to me. I feel this is false advertising. This is the second time I have bought at allposters.com, I am thinking it will be my last as I had about the same results the first time. I thought I would try them again, and they offered free shipping on the print I ordered, I let myself get sucked in and purchase here, I wish I would have purchased elsewhere. I utilized Paypal for payment so they should have have almost instant information that my payment was good! If I don't hear back from Allposters.com in two days I am contacting Paypal and see what they can do. This type of service is unacceptable and I feel is not true representation of what will take place with order!

The original poster I received was damaged on the edges because no protection was used for the ends of the tube. The print was also damaged because it stuck to the back of the poster when rolled. I e-mailed allposters.com and they sent me another copy of the poster at no charge. The second print was better, but the paper has a crease in it, which I've decided to live with...

I loved the poster but I put some glue on the back of it and glued it to cardboard of the same size as is was kind of wrinkled and I thought it would flatten it out, it totally wrecked the posted leaving bumps everywhere. So it was very disappointing to see the results.

Even though I was disappointed because the custom frame arrived chipped, their customer service was prompt and tried to remedy the situation for me. According to their web site, a customer may receive a refund or replacement for a product if it is defective or if it fails to meet up to the customer's expectations. However, the customer is expected to pay shipping costs to return the product. I felt this was not fair since I wasn't responsible for the damage. I e-mailed them & was quickly given the option to have them send me a prepaid shipping label so I could send it back or I could send a picture of the damaged frame & packaging so they could send a replacement. Unfortunately, I couldn't take advantage of their offer b/c I had already thrown away the packaging, not expecting to shell out a decent amount of money to ship it back to them. They then gave me the chance to receive a 20% discount on my next purchase for filling out a survey which I will do. I have to applaud their customer service which was prompt and tried to correct the problem. It's possible they do not make their entire returns policy known in the event people could take advantage of it. Next time, I won't be in such a hurry to get rid of the packaging!
