Allposters.com was fantastic.  I'll start by saying that my order was delivered damaged, which was frustrating to say the least.  Why was the experience fantastic?  Well, when I sent a photo of the damage to their returns/replacement department I received an email immediately with big apologies and information about the replacement order that would be sent to me right away. 

Yes, it would have been helpful if the item arrived perfect.  However, I have ordered from this company twice before and the items were in fact in perfect condition.  I know this was a fluke event and the customer service department solved the problem in the best possible way.  It would have been great to get a credit of some sort for the inconvenience, but I'm still very satisfied. 

If in fact the replacement item is damaged as well, then I'll repost an update at that time.  But for now I will assume they will resolve the problem professionally and in a speedy manor.

I ordered three posters from them, 2 of which had to be shipped by ground to get here by Christmas, and one that needed 2-day shipping. I failed to notice the 2-day shipping poster and was worried when I saw that my order wasn't going to be shipped until the 25th of December. I emailed to see if this could be rectified, and I was upgraded to free overnight shipping! I will definitely be doing business with them again.

Allposters.com is a great site with an excellent selection of posters and prints. Ordering is easy and delivery speed in my case was quick...however there is one serious flaw in their system: inadequate packing of an order.

My first print received did have some cardboard serving as "protection" for my print. Unfortunately, corrugated cardboard is easily bent by delivery people--and this bending transferred to my print making it unframeable. I asked for a replacement. It arrived this time in an even more flimsy mailer, less protected than the first. It too was bent in half during delivery.

If you can't get a print to the buyer undamaged, then you can't be in the poster/print business. I'm very unhappy and will most likely not order again. I might also note that the paper used for the print seemed a bit cheap to me. Prints I make on my color laser printer seem to be of better quality. Overall a disappointing experience.

Read reviews both positive and negative; decided to give them a try. Received canvas transfer print today. Horrible job. Canvas is puckered; looks like someone tried to poke their finger through the back twice, in the center of the piece. Wooden frame shows through the back on both top corners. So many flaws you can't focus on the art. If they would send a product out to me in this condition, I don't want them to make a second attempt. Requested full refund. Will not use them again.

After making an order I was waiting for 3 weeks watching my order status online as "processing". I've send an email to this store asking what was the problem and they told me that they need me to confirm my credit card details over the unsecured email. So in summary - poor service, shocking processing logistics = go somewhere else.

I order 2 large framed "prints" with premium wood framing. They arrived in a week. I was impressed with how fast they were processed. However, when I opened them, the frame wasn't wood, the corners weren't cut to match, the print wasn't a print but a poster (you could tell by the quality)... and it overall looked cheap. Furthermore, the order size was 35" x 35" and it finished product arrived smaller by 2.5". I paid over $250 each for what looks to be about a $75 piece.

After reading the reviews on this sight, I'm concerned when I return if I'll ever get my money back.

This site doesn't sell what they claim.

I ordered a poster "value framed." For most people, the word "framed" would produce an image in their mind of a picture with a surrounding wooden frame with a glass or acrylic cover. Instead, I received a poster with a flimsy frame unfitted to the poster with no glass. The poster itself also had scratches in the corner. The product was insufficiently described on their website and cost about 50 dollars after shipping. Immediately after receiving the product I called customer service and was told that I would receive a replacement in two days with a glass frame. I waited about 2 weeks and heard nothing. I called customer service and was told that value framing did not include a glass or acrylic cover even though their website does not specify it.

In summation my experience resulted in a poor product + high price + deceptive website which equals junk.

I would not shop here ever again. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.

My wife ordered two posters from All Posters in September, today October 24, 2007 she got a letter saying their site was hacked and names and credit card account numbers were accessed. Now we have to cancel our debit card and notify all the utility companies that we pay online automatically. One big hassle and not so much as an apology for the company. I will never buy anything from them again.

I have now ordered twice from allposters.com, with two canvas-transfer posters in each shipment. Each time, I had to return one of the products for poor mounting (crooked, sagging). Luckily I sent them with delivery confirmation from the post office, because each time I wound up having to call after many weeks...I was told that my return was "never entered into the computer", so the exchange I had requested was never shipped out. Eventually they were, but the representative told me they would be expedited, and they again took many weeks to arrive! In the future, I will order from one of their competitors.
