i purchased a maxus air compressor w/5.5Honda.I recieved a maxus w/a 160cc.Compressor Direct tells me,its the same thing.I would prefered to have recieved,the product they display to sell.compressor power is a little on the weak side.it would make a good expensive home comp,but its not really what you want on your jobsite.

Product did not perform as expected. I have returned it. I think it would have been appropriate for vendor to pay for shipping it back to them.

Item arrived damaged but repairable(I repaired it). A search of the website indicated repairs would be made by a representative of the company that manufactured the compressor. There is not a rep locally. Travel would be required and I would have to be able to transport the compressor (not impossible but impractical). I have not yet fired up the compressor due to making physical repairs so I still have concerns in that area and I'm hoping I have already fixed the only problem

IT TURNED OUT THE PRODUCT WAS DEFECTIVE AS IT BROKE MY FIRST TIME USING IT. THE RESPONSE TO REPLACE IT AT NO CHARGE WAS A VERY WELCOME SURPRISE. IFELT IS WAS WARRANTED BUT EXPECTED TO HAVE TO FIGHT THME TO DO SO. I ONLY HOPE THE REPLACEMENT PRODUCT HOLDS UP AND IF THERE IS A SIMILAR PROBLEM I D EXPECT TO GET A REFUND. BUT THUS FAR CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS BEEN REMARKABLY GOOD.

I called three times to find out why the delay. If I had not called the third time they would not have shipped it for some unknown reason. When I received the unit the battery was missing or just not working, not sure of which.

Couldn't be more DISPLEASED with this outfit. They sent a busted compressor which was shipped back to them. They (Steve) said that they would replace it but 4 weeks later still no compressor, no e-mail, no phone call, no explanation. Two phone messages went unreturned. This is not a reputable outlet. Do what I did and ...shop elsewhere!

the pressure guage had a small crack in the bezel, but it was not bad enough to warrant returning the item. It still works fine.
