I thought I was ordering a 1/4" air hose, but when it arrived I discovered it was 3/8", and even though the packaging states 1/4" NPT brass fittings, even the fittings are 3/8". Unfortunately, I discovered all this after I had cut the hose in two, as I needed only a shorter piece.

The pricing is excellent, and the reason I purchased here. UPS shipping and tracking is slow and the period in transit is not updated; only the delivery date. I would have preferred to be able to use my FedEx account.

Order not all received to date. Only received notice that 2 shipments would be made, when in fact 3 different shipments were scheduled: 1 by freight carrier (air compressor), 2nd by FedEx from Campbell Hausfeld (grease gun, hoes, accessory ket and gauge, and 3rd which has still to be received and which I had to email vendor to find out what was going on is coming from Coleman. The Coleman shipment which I have still to receive is over a week longer in transaction time than the other to. This is somewhat annoying.

I was very pleased with every aspect of shopping with Air Compressors Direct, except for the fact they put the street number on the package, but failed to put the street name, and Fed X Ground had to call and the package wasn't delivered until four days later

The selection of compressors was good, and the prices were competitive, but the free shipping was the attractive clincher that the other companies did not offer for what I wanted. Although the unit I purchased stated that it was a reconditioned, I did expect it to be in better shape than it was when I received it. The box which it was shipped in was soaked in one corner with oil which had leaked out during transport. Undoubtedly, the oil dipstick had not been tightened, and the oil in the unit had leaked out. I tried to find a number to contact the company, but could not locate a number to tell someone about this. UPS told me there was nothing that they could do about the actual packaging. Overall, I was pleased with the unit, but I think it could have been packaged better. I would also suggest that if the company is going to advertise that the unit is reconditioned, they should note clearly that the unit will definitly look like a used unit.

I ordered A simple air tool on 11/28/2004. As of 12/12/04, I have not received my order as of yet. the item was order on line. On 12/06/2004, I recieved an e-mail notice the the order was being processed. Given it's the holiday season, but I don't think a small item like a staple gun should take this long.

Internet site promotion for extra features kit did not arrive with unit and upon follow up were not available from mfg. False and/or misleading advertising. Additionally, the unit was not complete (missing pins that held handle together) Ultimately returned the unit since it did not meet my needs without the other parts. Customer service did not pro-actively follow up when they discovered the extra features kit was not longer available. This is a poorly managed company.

Merchant was rude and did not seem to care after the sale, every time I called, merchant had me on a speaker phone of very poor quality, hard to hear with the amount of hum and interferrence, rude and inconsiderate! It took repeated contacts just to find out if my order shipped or not. I believed I was doing business directly with the merchant who had the air compressor at his facility. That was not the case, he is only a middle man. I had to state I was pulling my order due to lack of shipping info. before I received any attention. Very bad experience. I would NEVER, NEVER shop with this merchant again.

The air tools I ordered were shipped on time. The problem I had was the lack of communication on when my tools were shipped. I recieved notification of the tools being shipped, AFTER I recieved them. I cancelled the order for the air compressor, once it took more then 8 business days to ship.

I was purchasing an air compressor and nail gun for my husband, as many women I did not have a clue on which air compressor and nail gun would be good for the work my husband was doing. thanks to your wonderful staff i send a note through the email and a gentleman from your company helped me all the way through and did not make me feel completely clueless.thankyou would use again and recommend.

the only thing I didn't like was the shipping. It could of came UPS if it was packed different. It came in to big of a box on a pallet. I had to go and pick it up. The trucks were to big to come to my house. I do have a pickup so that wasn't to bad.

It was uneventful, which is good. It took a couple of weeks to get the air compressor. The delivery truck was one of the longest 18 wheelers I've seen. We have no loading dock, so we had to manually lift it out of the truck.
