I ordered the Canon 5D Mark III kit, with 24-105 lens, 50mm 1.4 lens, 32 gig sd card, canon backpack, and some Adorama software. This was a $4500 purchase. I received the camera and the 24-105 lens, the rest of the merchandise was not in the box. The box had obviously been tampered with. I have called Adorama 3 times now, with no satisfaction. They say they are investigating, but I never get a follow up call or email. I sent them photos of the box at their request. I understand they are investigating, but I believe they should send me the things I paid for and then collect later from UPS or whoever is to blame. They do not seem to care for customer service. I have done business with them in the past with no problem, but based on their apparent lack or response to this situation, it is doubtful I will do business with them in the future.

Great service in general. One staff person I had on the phone had NO idea when the back ordered camera would be available, but I got an e-mail 2 days after that saying the order was shipping ! Good overall experience nonetheless. Thanks !!

Some things I had 0 wait time (sb-700) others (d800 I ordered Feb 8th and received it end of June, suspiciously only days after calling and complaining of the wait time). I saw others were receiving their d800 only 6 weeks after ordering which made me wonder if I would've called sooner and complained if I would've gotten mine earlier? Perhaps it was a coincidence but the squeaky wheel gets the oil!

Cd/DVD books were even more pleasing than I had expected, although one of the cases of the books was slightly damaged at the edges and i didnt like that there was a sticker on one of the cases that I had to rip off. Other than that I found the quality of the books to be fantastic.

I purchased a Case Logic camera sling case from Adorama Camera - I called them to see if an extension strap they carried would fit my case.  The rep that i was transferred to told me that it would not work. However, he was kind enough that he suggested that i should go on a diet! Obviously there is a need for extension straps otherwise they wouldn't carry them! Then when I followed up on it with a supervisor as well as the customer service manager, they said that could not find a record of the call! Well obviously either the record was deleted or I am getting the run around!  I will never do business with them again! I recommend going to your local camera shop. Adorama doesn't care about taking care of customers like your local shop would!  At least they wouldn't insult you! Adorama Camera has the worst customer Service I have ever experienced!

My credit card was billed twice for this purchase. Customer service told me to call my bank to resolve the issue. I was told the card was only charged once. I doubt this is the case. Now awaiting completion of the investagation by my credit card company.

Tracking information is usually sent to me via e-mail the next day after I place an order. After a few days I had to call and request this e-mail with tracking information. Item was received in excellent condition and on time. I've used this merchant dozens of times some of which consisted of very expensive items. I've never regretted purchasing from Adorama. They continue to be on 1st choice for on line photography purchases.

Another excellent shopping experience from Adorama. I got my Canon 24-105 lens one day after I ordered it. Price was excellent and product turned out to be full retail unit despite site saying it was a "white box" which worked out in my favor. Adorama has come through for my over the years and I always will come here to shop for my photography need.s

Because of a computer glitch on my end, my order went in two times, so I received two battery grips. I returned one, with explanation, and received credit on my credit card immediately.
