Received a call asking about extended warranty - explained that their web posting was not complete and did actually apply to my product. There was no hard-sell on me to purchase the extended warranty, but for the price, I felt it was a good investment and I did take advantage of it. I was asked if I needed a case or anything else, and when I declined, I was thanked for my time and treated MUCH better by the Adorama staff over the phone than I've been treated in person at some of the camera stores I've dealt with over the past 40 years. I'd bought from Adorama in the 1980's and was satisfied then, I'm satisfied now and will do business with them again.

Adorama is more or less a one stop outlet for your photographic and optics necessities, and together with a large range of accessories makes Adorama a huge place. Their website is easily navigated to find the products you require, and also contains a wealth of information on photography. Ordering is straightforward, but like any retail outlet, Adorama has their system of purchasing and customer service. Your first online order requires a validity of your credit card, thereafter ordering is simple. Basically, you send them your money; they send you your stuff. Make full use of the ordering information on their site, and if you have any queries just send an email to customer service. Also, be aware of their shipping rules, the order processing times of the day and days of the week, and their periodic holidays during the year. If you have a problem with your order, email customer service immediately. Following these simple rules, and some common sense, you will always be satisfied. Having made quite a few international orders with Adorama, I have never had a problem.

Web Site was very easy to navigate with a very wide selection of items. I was able to load many different items into my "wish list," delete the unwanted items, and transfer the desired items into my shopping cart with a single mouse click. I highly recommend this retailer.

The site dosen't provide all the information required about the means of paymnet. Because I don't feel confortable about giving the original credit card number on the internet, i payed my order with the MBnet system, that provides me a temporary credit card number, that was generated from the original one. It seems that Adorama do not acept this mean of payment, but they fail to give this information on the confirmation of the order. When they required more information to confirm the order, i send yhe document from the MbNet system that proved the pre-authorization in the card was already gaven. They didn't acepted this document, and my option was to bye the same iten in another place.

I purchased the following items: Canon Pixma PRO9500 printer; Sandisk Extreme IV compact flash card; Canon and Ilford inkjet paper sample packs. I placed the order on a Thursday after 3:00-PM, so I had to wait until Monday to have the order processed. I was a little disappointed about that and thought that the order would be further delayed. I also had the free shipping for the printer and the memory cards and paid for the shipping of the paper...little odd to me but no big deal. The shipping indicated it could be 5-10 business days. Got confimation of the order filling and shipping on Monday and the products were delivered on Friday. I was very surprised by this as I thought it would easily carry into the followng week. The products arrived in good condition as expected; although I haven't setup the printer as of yet (1-week later, hopefully this weekend???) This was my first time shopping at Adorama and I was attracted to the low prices...normally I would have bought this from NewEgg, but I decided to give them a go. The site was easy enough to navigate through and I did get exactly what I wanted in a timely fashion. I will shop at Adorama again (ready to order additional paper and inks for printer testing) and would recommend Adorama as a good and reliable place to shop.

The shipping box was in perfect condition, not a mark on it. The lens box was trashed even though it was wrapped in bubble pack. That makes me think I paid a new price for a used lens. The lens appears to be in great condition but I still question if I got ripped off.
