Great product lousy customer service.  Be advised when ordering they will pull from another method of payment without informing you first.  My credit card company declined Adorama because it was such a big purchase, they thought it was fraud activity.  Adorama used another card that I used prior to this order.  My card was not on file they just plain pulled it.  I dont see how this act is legal and now I am dealing with bank overdraft fees and slow customer service to resolve this act.

Delivered across the USA in less than a week, the order was filled exactly with a brand new unopened Canon G-10 . This was my first on-line buying experience. Being able to contact them and get a speedy response was very important.Adorama was there every-time.  I will buy again.  
You know the feeling  ...  "Are these folks legit?"  
Looking at my beautiful camera, I can truthfully say yes they are.

I received the order within the time stated and in excellent condition. The order was correct and packaged well.  As always I am very satisfied with the web ordering process, payment and delivery systems. I had a problem with the camera which was handled my the customer service rep with one call. They assisted me in contacting the manufacturer and an easy over the phone repair was made. I was told by the customer service rep that if the camera couldn't be repaired easily they 'had no problem in accepting the camera for exchange or refund'.

All I wanted was a gift certificate for a friend who is into photography. The certificate was not mailed, and the call from Adorama to confirm the order did not happen in a timely manner--I was leaving town the next day, and so it all got hung up. If there was going to be a phone confirmation, it should have said so on the order form. I had called customer service after placing the order, and they said they couldn't help because it takes at least an hour for orders to show up on their computer. As it was, I cancelled the order, because the birthday was long gone...very inconvenient.

I have shopped Adorama online a number of times. It has always been a positive experience. Prices are always fair and may be a little less than those on comparable photo websites. Shipping has always been well within the 7-10 day estimate for standard shipping, unless an item is backordered, which is clearly noted at the time of ordering. In general, backordered items have been filled more quickly than I have expected. All orders have been accurately filled. I have not yet had to use Adorama customer service and so cannot comment on that. Adorama definitely continues to be one of my preferred sites for photo gear and printing supplies.

Received the monopod. it came with a carrying case and the zipper was broke. Looked like it was a previous return. The customer service was excellent. emailed me a return lable asap. My new product is on the way. However, they are sending it by 8 day ground which is very frustrating. It is now approximately 3 weeks since I ordered. The least they could have done was ship it overnight.

I have been purchasing camera equipment from Adorama for a little while now and have had nothing but good things to say about them so far.

A very recent experience has proven to me that this was NOT a fluke: a hard to get lens I have been waiting for 4 or 5 weeks came in, and went out. Some confusion happened and I lucked into one with a local vendor- at the same time Adorama was shipping me a lens!


As much as I wanted the lens, I do not need two...


Adorama has been great about this as well, and said to send it back and I would be credited, no problem.





I can not speak highly enough of Adorama, and have so far gotten at least two others to look there for camera equipment.

The order was made by phone. It was compete and top-of-the-line service beginning to end. The salesperson was very thorough in his explanations. He took complete personal responsibility. I asked if the product was in stock. A few webtailers had said they were out of stock or expecting shipments, or there was a 5-10 day waiting period. He checked to make sure it was in-stock and ready to go. There was no discussion or forced sales of unwanted products - either add-ons to the product or other - just a courteous question asking if I needed anything relating to the product. He gave his name and said to call on him at any time for questions, any problems or new orders. The Adoroma email follow-up was quick and complete with order details. The order contained a minor address glitch, which through return email was fixed immediately. Delivery was just as described - actually even better. I ordered in the morning. Order was shipped that evening from NY City, I received it UPS the next day. No additional costs were involved. The product was as-ordered, a Canon Pixma 4600 photo printer. Couldn't have been better. Checked it out immediately.

I always enjoy shopping at Adorama. I've been a loyal customer of adorama for almost 9 years. One thing that I would like to be improve is the control over the real stock of items and the ones promoted online, because several times I order item shown as in stock and later I receive a mail saying that is not, and that I will be charge once is delivered, but I sometimes dont want to wait, an if i don't cancel that order I will still get it, and by then I may have bought it things from someone else...that my only wish.

The only concern I had was that the box was torn up pretty badly. It appears that the box was thrown around quite a bit while in transit. Luckily, the three backdrops were there. I have yet to open the backdrops'separate packaging to see if there was any damage, because I left on a trip and just returned today. Hopefully, all is okay. I will open them tomorrow.

Adorama Internet camera shop. Excellent place! When ordering a refurbished lens, my rep said "Hang on...I can sell you a new display model for the same price". A similar experience with some filters, too. Where else have you been that you're offered better equipment for less $$?
I had a refurbished Canon XSi arrive DOA (very un-typical). NO SWEAT! The rep had another in the post the next day (Monday). Yes, I was charged for the 2nd camera, but the faulty unit required no RMA, Adorama supplied the UPS return shipping label, and was credited in full upon arrival at the shop.

My reburbished camera is in 'new' condition. It is way better then I expected. It also came faster than I expected. I am very very happy with this purchase. I was a little leery after a previous online camera purchase from another merchant who was eventually shut down due to bad business practices, but the price/value of this camera made me try again and I am happy I did.
