I have ordered from Academic Superstore about 7 or 8 times in the past year.

The good:

The website is easy to navigate.

Their prices are competitive, shipping costs are low (or free) and everything that I have ordered has (eventually) arrived in good shape and I have always received what I have ordered.

The not so good:

On several occasions things have taken a *LONG* time to arrive. On a couple of occasions I have e-mailed or called to find out where my things were. If you order more than one item, they seem to tend to ship items as they get them in stock. Recently I ordered 4 items and each item was shipped separately. If you like to get lots of mail I guess that is good, I prefer to not have to keep track of what I have received and what I haven't.

There is no way to track the status of your order on-line and they do not e-mail you tracking numbers for your packages when they ship. They are also not always reliable about e-mailing you to let you know the status of your order (once it is confirmed). I have had packages show up before I got an e-mail that they shipped. I have also gotten e-mails that something was shipping, only to not have it arrive for a week or so.

In Summary:
I will probably use them again, but I know to NEVER order something from them that I will need in less than 3 weeks (I ordered some Christmas presents from them in early November just to be safe)
