I ordered a microwave which was listed in stock. Credit card was changed and UPS track number followed a few days later. So far so good. Then the day UPS says it arrives in San Francisco I get an email from ABT customer service Kate Oserka that my order won't be delivered and it is now on back order for at least two weeks and ABT out of the kindness of their heart will let me order something else instead if I don't like this. So I email back saying it sounds very suspicious like ABT decided to divert this shipment at the last minute to some other customer. Kate emailed back saying yes indeed the microwave was going to another somehow more deserving customer. Turns out though evidently ABT Electronics was not competent enough to divert my order and UPS actually delivered the next day. You want an "unforgettable" head banging, nail biting experience -- try ABT Electronics, where you just don't know what is gonna happen next!

Abt's web site is very good and the order process was smooth. However, the order got hung up "moving to shipping". I sent an email that went unanswered, and twice tried the online chat in Firefox, which did not work. I finally picked up the phone and called them and got and excellent customer service rep who said the phone number on my credit card didn't match. I expressed my dissatisfaction that no one had contacted me about this issue, especially since I had paid for second day air. She said she'd check it all out and get the order moving. I asked that she call me back with the results. She did call back, and verified that the original phone number was correct, and also said she had moved the order to shipping and would waive the shipping charge for my inconvenience. I will use Abt again, as I think they're a good company and hope this was an isolated problem. The product was a much better kit than I expected from the description, which was a nice surprise, but the customer service rep I dealt with saved the day for them this time.

I received my riser with a dent on one of the top corners. It seems to me that an item of such heavy weight should be packed better by the manufacturer. As we all know, UPS hires employees with airport luggage handling backgrounds!Abt offered to replace the item or give a $25 damage credit. I was satisfied with the credit offer. I appreciated the quick response on this matter!!!

Holy cow; only 20 hrs. after placing my order this microwave was at my door! I've NEVER had any online order come so fast. So far, it is exactly what we wanted. The only drawback that I can see is having to keep fingerprints off of it but then I guess what doesn't need wiping down in the kitchen.
