Abt's web site is very good and the order process was smooth. However, the order got hung up "moving to shipping". I sent an email that went unanswered, and twice tried the online chat in Firefox, which did not work. I finally picked up the phone and called them and got and excellent customer service rep who said the phone number on my credit card didn't match. I expressed my dissatisfaction that no one had contacted me about this issue, especially since I had paid for second day air. She said she'd check it all out and get the order moving. I asked that she call me back with the results. She did call back, and verified that the original phone number was correct, and also said she had moved the order to shipping and would waive the shipping charge for my inconvenience. I will use Abt again, as I think they're a good company and hope this was an isolated problem. The product was a much better kit than I expected from the description, which was a nice surprise, but the customer service rep I dealt with saved the day for them this time.

I received my riser with a dent on one of the top corners. It seems to me that an item of such heavy weight should be packed better by the manufacturer. As we all know, UPS hires employees with airport luggage handling backgrounds!Abt offered to replace the item or give a $25 damage credit. I was satisfied with the credit offer. I appreciated the quick response on this matter!!!

Holy cow; only 20 hrs. after placing my order this microwave was at my door! I've NEVER had any online order come so fast. So far, it is exactly what we wanted. The only drawback that I can see is having to keep fingerprints off of it but then I guess what doesn't need wiping down in the kitchen.

I received emails when my order was received for processing and when it was shipped by UPS. I was able to easily track the order. The item arrived 3 working days after purchase in excellent condition. I am please with my shopping experience with ABT.

This was a replacement for a defective refrigerator. My food froze, water leaked all over the fridge and my floor. ABT was out four times to try and repair the defective unit with duct tape and styrofoam!!!! There was never an apology for my lost food, or a sense of urgency to get the matter resolved. Only after several phone calls and (4) attempts did they reluctantly agree to exchange my unit!!! I have been a loyal customer of ABT'S for over 25 years, and have NEVER bought an appliance, TV, camera, etc anywhere else. This was the first occassion where I required service in a major and prompt way. (a refrigerator is a critical appliance). I have medicine that also must be refrigeratorated. ABT could care less, offered no reasonable assistance, and really let me down. I forgot to mention that my wife was late for work the four times they attempted repair, and did not go in at all when the exchange took place. She was told that specific delivery times could not be requested "because it was a replacement unit" and not new. BS!!!!!! Over the years, we have spent aprox. $1,000.00 per year on average. In simple math that equates to $25,000.00. I'll spend my future dollars elsewhere, you can be assured!!!! There lack of caring cost them my business, my families business, and any friends I can relay my horible experience too!! What does a lost customer cost?? In my case, $25,000.00.

I love your site and have ordered and bought numerous things through ABT - right now I am a little unhappy. I was told this item was a special order item - which it does not say on the site and the service person agreed that it was misleading. I was told it would be about 3 days before the item would be in - it is now over a week in time and have not heard anything from anybody for delivery. Needless to say I am a little disappointed in this transaction. It is difficult to answer this survey as I have not received the item or had any communication since the order was placed.
