Do not do business with this company. Had the lowest price for a light fixture I wanted plus free shipping (Thomas light FD232-53ROEB). Did not have on-line status for my order. Sent e-mail to tell me the light was discontinued because they would have lost money on this single item. I know this to be fact because I called for a telephone order and they said they had this item available. I believe AbsoluteHome would have sent this light at the cost advertised if I had ordered additional items. Bad business practiced by this company. Buyer Beware. A Really disappointing experience. I am going to make a complaint with the FTC and the Better Business Bureau.

not easy.. so, today morning i called danby customer service.. my washer is little demage & i need to check my machine by service man...please come & help me~~but, she told me..bring the machine to our store!!!
i felt terrible today... i'll never order for machine by online... i'd like to return my washer... but it's not easy for me.. i decided to keep washer..i don't have no choice...

Price was good, but I was disappointed in the slow response when I tried to cancel the order before shipping. It took three days to reply via email and the phone system directed me to email for assistance. Three days is way too slow, especially when trying to cancel an order. I have not yet received the product, so I can't comment on that part of the sale. This won't be the first place I look next time I need something...

Order not in stock as advertised. Phoned customer service and got no help...they could not reach a "live" person in shipping. I cancelled my order and it arrived a week later. They charged my credit card in two hours, everything else would take "3-4 days" for a response!

I ordered for light covers at a nice price with estimated 3-5 day ship time. When the confirmation arrived the ship day was 28 calendar days from my order. I'm trying to cancel now.

Product was defective. It had two parts - one fir the left-hand sink, the other did NOT fit the right-hand sink. I called customer service, and told them of the defect, but was told I would still suffer the 25% restocking fee. One has to be careful with online merchants. I will never shop again with THIS one, and will urge anyone with whom I communicate on the subject, like your organization that this particular online retial organization is to be avoided.

Site provided the McCulloch electric trimmer type I was interested in but not the mandatory propriatiary disposable spool attachments to go with it. The attachments are not available on the market, as near as I can tell rendering the trimmer useless.

I placed an order September 19th, noted they were to be shipped October 10th, which was my own fault for thinking that they'd ship October 10th. Status now "delayed"...
In trying to cancel one item from the order, I was told it would take 2-3 days, received a follow-up email stating that, and then this: "As per your request, your item: American Standard/Colony Soft Widespread from order number 439034 has been cancelled. Please allow 3-5 business days for the refund to be issued to your account. However, we apologize, but we were not able to cancel your item American Standard/Colony Soft Widespread because it is in the shipping process and shipping cannot be stopped. If you would like to return your order, that was not able to be cancelled, please contact our Returns Department, via email at www.absolutehome.com/web/customerservice/contactus_form.aspx?s=r or you may contact cwhatley@hdpi.com . While the people were nice to talk to over the phone, I think that they need to have clearer information with regards to their cancellation policy. I got mixed information when I tried cancelling the order. The first email said to wait 2-3 days for a reply to see if the order could be cancelled and the next one 15 minutes later said that the order could not be cancelled. This left me confused and upset. I gave them a suggestion to put on their online policy that if the item can not be cancelled that it will be clearly labeled as such. (This is what I later found out was what their policy was when I talked to someone directly) I also thought that the order tracking was not as good as it could be. They need to take a lesson from Fedex or UPS and do the order tracking like they do. I had no idea where this item was being shipped from so had no idea when to reasonably expect them. They were pretty quick to deliver it but not knowing where they were on the road left me guessing when they were going to deliver it. I also think that there needs to be a better way to know the status of the order. I know that they are working with some other vendor and it was shipped from the vendor's place but there has to be some universal way of tracking what the status is rather than me having to wait several days for a voice response. I should be able to pull up the order and see the status of the item in detail.

The oven will not ignite and one of the igniters on the cook top will not ignite. I have called AbsoluteHome once, and called Sunbeam three times. As of today, August 28, the range still does not work. The warranty is not worth the paper it is written on because I cannot get service on the range. Please help.

Customer service is terrible and shipping takes forever. Whatever they tell you on a phone is a bull. It's a broker website that doesn't have actual merchandise but orders it from manufacturer or other distributors after they charge your credit card. We ordered bath tub and toilet, the shipping date was moved three times so it was supposed to take about three months. I tried to cancel the order, it took about a week after four phone calls, I was put on hold for almost half an hour each time. At the end, they told me that the order is about to be shipped, they cannot cancel it and offered me to return it paying all shipping cost and restocking fee. Will never order from them again and wish they'll be out of business soon.
