absolutely awful service. Called to question the order and was on hold for 10 minutes. They ship the TV by freight, so you have to be home for a 3 hour window - which the trucking company was late for. Took 11 days to receive.

Salesmen are high-pressure - if you call in to get the free plasma mount, you learn it is not a flush mount and they want $140 for that one. Also, give inaccurate information on service - you do not have to ship the TV to Samsung to have it serviced.

I bought a Tascam professional CD recorder from Abe’s on 3/17/08 which they were selling at a price far below those of any other store. I was concerned that, given the unbeatable price and the confusing description of this deck, that it might in fact be the older discontinued model, but the salesman assured me that, despite the description, it was the current model. This, combined with the fact that I could buy an extended 3 yr warranty for only $50 more (very important to me), made me go for it. I got the component 4 days after I ordered it, at the cost of $7.90 for shipping and it was indeed the new model. I could not be happier with this purchase.

Awesome service Abes of Maine get an A+ across the board. Ordered around 11 AM, At 3PM I had a tracking number. Next morning the ups driver is out side my house with the package.

I already submitted my order from Abe's of Maine before noticing a couple of bad comments online. Some customers warned of the bait and switch scam, receiving an old refurbished product, delays in shipping, having to call them to "confirm" the order only to get solicited to buy express shipping, extended warranty, and other accessories. So naturally, I'm totally freaked out about my purchase now!

Two days after I submitted my order I got an email to "confirm" my order, which I called and the guy did try to sell me additional stuff. What scared me was that he implied if I don't go with express shipping then the product may arrive damaged. What the hell! I didn't go with any of the extra offers, but it better arrive as a brand new, undamaged product!

When I purchased online, the price was $1589.55, I used a $10 coupon code to bring the price down to $1579.55. I just got the bill sent to my email for a price of $1589.99. I just got screwed for $10.44 extra. Not worth arguing over. I'll let them have this one.
