I just bought a very expensive Panasonic Plasma 58" TV from them. The price was good after taking the free shipping into account. I got a call from them asking if I would like other accessories... not too pushy and I did need a wall mount, soI added a $200 wall mount to my order. TheTV arrived (almost on time, a few days late, but OK), with a wall mount. My installer used the included wall mount and installed it all that day. Three days later I got the $200 wall mount from Abe's. I found out that Panasonic included a wall mount with the TV as part of a promotion, I guess(?). I called Abe'sand wanted to return the unused, unopened, and totally not needed $200 wall mount that they sold me. They gave me an RMA number, I wrote it on the box and sent it back to them. It is well over a month later and I still have not received my refund! I called customer support (which is horrible) a few times and it is still not resolved.
Days after getting my TV, my neighbor was interested in making a similar purchase. I recommended Abe's... I am now letting them know of my customer support experience. They are not sure saving a few dollars is worth the hassle (I agreed with them!).
In short, if you buy from Abe's, I hope you never have a need for customer service or support -
YOU WILL PAY FOR IT!(PS After 40 minutes on my last call with them (now 6 weeks later), they promised they will get me my refund... we will see)
