  Abe's of Maine had best price of $165.99 for a silver Canon Powershot SD1100. I told them I wanted it sent overnight to my mother as a present. Salesman convinced me I needed extras: he gave me a "great package" including extended life battery and 2 gig memory card, plus overnight shipping for $228.05. It arrived 4 days later, shipped ground. I called and spoke to very helpful service rep who said Abe's would refund the shipping charge, which left me $6 under the total of the web-site prices for each part of the package. I said I was not really happy, he said he wanted me to be a happy camper-"what would make you happy?" but I was not up for haggling, so there we are. Negatives: Bought more than I intended to buy, the shipping got screwed up, value not quite as good as the "great package". Positives: I got what I ordered, and customer service was responsive, even if not superb. Oh, there are 2 more negatives: I gave him my email address but then I got no email confirmation, and the invoice gave one total number including shipping, not broken down by item at all.
