AJ Madison

I ordered nearly 10K of major appliances but inadvertently ordered two dryers and no washer. No one at AJ Madison caught the error (what was the person thinking who pulled the order?) It took nearly a week to process a return and I was saddled with $200 in shipping and a restocking fee of $100 on a $625 item.  Would not buy from this merchant.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE...THIS COMPANY WILL STILL YOUR JOY!
I reserched online for the perfect highly reviewed compact refrigerator for our company which AJ madison carried at the lowest price.  I was promised a delivery of 7 to 10 days and after 20 days I phone AJ madison only to find that my order was "In Processing" when asked what this meant I was informed that the unit may have just arrived in their store that day.  I then asked for a refund which I was guaranteed would arrive in 3 to 5 days.  Again, after 15 days pasted I called AJ madison only to be told that the check was sent out the previous day. Over 30 days and I'm still trying to rectify this bad purchase.  I have since purchase an inferior compact refrigerator from a local appliance company...This experience has made me gun shy with online companies.

Having shopped this appliance for over a year, it was great to find it on sale at AJ Madison for Labor Day, in stock, and delivered 10 days after placing order. The LG unit is just as advertised: quality construction, good temperature control, well-designed interior, quiet operation. Even better, the delivery guys were very able maneuvering stair turns and the unit was in tiptop shape when uncrated.

I thought this was a great experience! I read reviews on the company first because it seemed a little too good to be true as they were going to save me tax, provide free shipping, and in total they were $225 cheaper than anywhere else - plus I got a $100 rebate on top of that! There were a couple of bad reviews, but AJ had responses for those that made perfect sense. I placed my order right before a sale ended at midnight on a Saturday night and I had my frig delivered by 7am on the following Friday morning (less than a week). The delivery guys asked where we wanted it and they rolled it into our house and put it right into our kitchen and we connected it! Simple and they waited while we looked over the whole unit to ensure it was not damaged and then we signed off. It was an ideal experience and I will definitely shop with them again!

This internet shopping experience went extremely well. AJ Madison's website provided all the information we needed to make our selection, and we received the item promptly, in perfect condition. I would not hesitate to purchase another appliance from them!

20 days later I have rec'd no contact from them. I can check my order online and find that I can check my order and that it is still being "Processed" Question #7 should have more than a yes or no answer. Right now I am not happy that it is taking so long. It is an item that appears to only be available from them. The Summit Appliance website recommended using them.

Ordered from AJ Madison not knowing anything about company. They called to complete order and said it would be a few weeks to delivery. It was about 4 weeks. And trucking company (Estes) brought it to the door with a lift gate truck. Very satisfied with AJ Madison and Estes Trucking.

item arrived with shipping slip of the DISTRIBUTOR, not the retailer AJ Madison...and with other docs showing that the manufacturer had shipped this to Distributor who shipped to me. Therefore, when item arrived with broken piece, it required several calls to get it sorted out, and altho everyone was nice and trying to be helpful, no one can ensure a quick ship of the broken piece...thus rendering my use of the microwave to be useless

Best price for the Bosch washer/dryer I needed.  Easy online purchase and payment.  Delivery and installation was quick and done when promised.  Small issue resolved over the phone by a very friendly person.  Highly recommend.

The enamel on the cook top was chipped with no evidence of shipping damage. AJ Madison's Customer Service responded extreamly well to emails regarding the damage and provided an acceble resolution to the problem. I am very pleased with the service and would again purchase from this company should the need arise.

The only problem we had was that we paid for the "White Glove" shipping. This was to include unlimited number of stairs and delivery to any room in the house. The tractor trailer that pulled up to our house had no lift gate, one delivery man, and a crappy dolly. My husband (with his bad back) and my brother-in-law had to help the delivery guy get it out of the truck and up onto our porch. We called AJ Madison customer service and the agent was very nice. She said she had to investigate and contact the company that delivered the product. Within 24 hours we had an email that said they would refund the "White Glove" charge. Within the next few days, the refund posted to our account. I would definitely buy from them again.

When I purchased my dryer from them I was told that it would be delivered in 5 days, that it was in stock and that the delivery people could install it and remove the old one. It was not in stock, it  took three weeks for it to be delivered, the delivery people said they do not do installation or removal.

Please do not buy, do not buy, do not buy. Received damaged goods, called & emailed over 10 times...will not take it back or replace said it was not in the time frame of 24 hours, delivery guys were terriable drop $7500 order just above the sidewalk, boxes looked ok no need to open...if problem call aj madison...well wouldn't you know it they do not stand behind it...went to my credit card they are working on it...please do not buy from these guys...not good. The ordering was great they are stealing your money...they cleaned out house on my large order...customer service very very poor, claims do not give you the time of the day.

Great price on my Napoleon grill, but that's the only positive I can say with my experience.  Customer service was courteous, but was very inconsistent on when I would receive my grill.  They weren't sure where the grill was (i.e. if it had left their warehouse yet), so they said they would call me back in a few minutes.  Never received a call.  I called back the next day and was told it should be picked up the next day, but wasn't sure.  Even after they shipped it, they couldn't tell me if it had already reached the freight terminal.  All they could say is that I'd receive it either Thursday, Friday, Monday or Tuesday.   That was absolutely no help.

Product arrived quickly and in good condition. ONLY issue was - I opened the front door to go out and there was the box. Delivery did not even ring door bell. Microwave works well. I have to search quite a bit as my microwave shelf is minimal width and depth. Height is not an issue. Thank you for the prompt and accurate service. I did not need to call about anything.
