The worst and most disrespectful treatment I've ever gotten for spending my money

I purchased a Maytag Bravos gas dryer on 1/13/09.  The salesman was Solomon Lewis.  I paid $1,031 for the dryer, installation and removal.  When I called a week later to say the dryer was making the loudest noises (it was suppposed to be the quietest dryer in the world), I called Solomon Lewis' extension.  First he acted as though he never heard my name before, then put me on hold and I was switched to customer service.  I spoke to this nasty girl who was so rude and who was just giving me one syllable answers.  I told her that she had an "I don't give a damn" attitude and her response was "do you want me to jump up and down".  What happened since got only worse.  I spoke with a manager, Sarah Leitner, who put in a service call with the warranty people.  The man who came to my house said it was not the dryer, but that the "installation people", AM Trucking, deliberately did not connect my vent hose.  To make a really long story short, after 25 calls, voicemails, emails, letters and complaints, my dryer is still not hooked up.  The installation people refuse to come back to my house when I am there (after 7 pm) or on the weekends.  I really want to watch what they do since I wasn't there the first time.  Everyone has been so nasty and I just want my money back, because I do not want to give a penny to AJ Madison.  I have not gotten a return call and I've left voicemails consistently for the last two months.  Even their principal and vice president, Michael Gross (his name really describes how it is to deal with these people) does not return my calls.  I've put complaints in with the Better Business Bureau, my credit card company and the Brooklyn Borough President's Office.

Seriously, I am so stressed out I am getting pains in my chest.  Don't buy from them.  Pay a little extra and buy from Sears or a neighborhood appliance store where you can walk in and get in their faces if you have to.  I've been more than patient, but because of their inadequacies, I've had to suffer.  Today I will be putting in a claim in Small Claims Court.

Don't buy from them.
