I want to thank AJ Madison and Michelle, specifically, for making what could have been a very disappointing problem into a simple and quite unexpectedly satisfying experience!!! I bought an ice maker from AJ Madison over christmas for my wife. The machine worked well for the first day, then quit working. I contacted the company, simply wanting to have it repaired, even at my cost if necessary. As (typical of me) I had lost the receipt, the company stated they could not service my product, and also could provide no referrals to anywhere to get it fixed. Undeterred, I went to my local expert, "we'll call him Billy-Bob" who was so frightened by something "foreign-made", he didn't even open it and charged by $20, apparently just for scaring him. Alas, I was sadly giving up, and decided just to call AJ Madison to see if they, by chance, had my receipt on file from 3 months before. To make a long story.....slightly less long...., Michelle told me no problem and I had a receipt in the next 3 seconds in my inbox, but also exclamed that it would be very expensive for me to ship the unit back for repair and simply stated that if I mailed her the sticker on the unit, AJ Madison would replace it for free! As a savy internet buyer (who can't keep track of his receipts), they have a customer for life.
