I ordered a cooktop and downdraft vent on May 12. It was supposed to be shipped in 2-3 weeks. I called at the end of the month and it did not ship. They said that the manufacturer was backordered 4 weeks. I called the manufacturer and they said it should take no longer than a week. I called AJ Madison back. They wanted me to let them try to find one. I called back the next day and they said they had. This is June 5. I called today, and there is till still no Cooktop. I have a Kitchen project going on and the granite countertop can't be done until I have a cooktop and vent for measurement. AJ Madison does not return emails, or calls. I emailed the president. Nothing. I received no response. So now I have to start all over and order from someone else. Hopefully they will be better. All I can say is never buy from AJ Madison. It seems that unless they have it onsite or in their warehouse, they won’t go out of their way to get it. They have very poor customer service, dishonest and poor business practices. I am surprised they haven’t been investigated by the DA. I am definitely going to register a BBB complaint.
