MY nightmare with AJ Madison started the minute my credit card was charged and my purchase made official. I should have realized then I was dealing with heartless people.
It seemed like a great deal buying my appliances from them because of the amount of savings I was getting. I should have remembered "you get what you pay for". To start out, the day they promised delivery, I took the day off from work and hired 2 local men to wait for my delivery to arrive. You guessed it, AJ Madison never showed. When I called them they said they had "made a mistake" and set it up for another day. No remorse, not offerings in regard to my missed day at work or the monies I had to pay my help for waiting around. NOTHING! When they finally delivered my appliances, at least 3 of them arrived damaged. They hounded me to take these items at a discount, when I said No!, they gave me the run around. Every time I called customer service and asked to speak with owner, or ask the name of the owner they wouldn't put me through to him. They passed me off to Irving Gross who told me he was a manager, but he was the biggest fake. Their customer service is an insult to the phrase "customer service". They never call you back or email you when they say they will, "Oh, you never got my email"?, "Oh, I never got your message"., "Oh, I was out of the office that day". PLEASE!!! Stand by your products!! I should have done this review long ago. The main reason why I am doing it now is that I now am having problems with the $299.00 extended warranty I purchased with them. They now tell me I was to register this warranty with in a year of the purchase. What? Who heard of such a thing. I registered all my appliances as soon as I got them because the info came with them. They told me I should have received infomation about the "Repairmaster" warranty registration in the mail/ or with my appliances when they arrived. Neither ever happened and as a matter of fact the sales person who encouraged me to buy the warranty never mentioned this or told me to look out for the mailing, other wise I would have called them about not getting it!! It is a scam!! We will see what the BBB has to say about this as I am filing a complaint with them today!
Stay away, the savings are not worth it! !
