A&E TV -- Shop A&E --

We've all watched A&E TV at some point in our life. Those of us in the US anyway. Not sure what countries actually pick the show up. They have a variety of shows and are more of a documentary television program than anything else. There are a few of those shows that we really love though and they have a store available for you to buy DVD's and books relating to those programs they air. I think you'll find the site interesting. You may visit them either by going to their main site at:

http://www.aetv.com/

or their store at:

http://store.aetv.com/html/home/index.jhtml

What you'll find:

DVD's, Videos, and Books on their shows such as:
Kids in the Hall
Mail Call
Biography
Cold Case Files
Nero Wolfe
and the list goes on.

You will also find the same containing their special documentaries or movies such as:

The Michael Jackson Case
Santa Claus
Organized Crime
The Wright Challenge
The Men Who Killed Kennedy (exclusive)
The True Story of Seabiscuit
(also an exclusive and very interesting)
and on and on......

There is much, much more there to temp you, just way too many to list. It's jammed packed with great stuff. There is stuff you recognize from other channels as well, such as Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman or The Godfather. You can get most of what I've mentioned and any of their other stuff on book too.

Prices are a bit on the expensive side but you are going to find stuff that you won't find elsewhere. Be sure to check them out. Shipping is standard and reliable. I've ordered twice and have not had a problem either time. I've had no need to use customer service either so I will not be commenting on them.

About the site:

The website it's self is very tastefully done in tans, gray, and burnt orange colors. They use top tabs and bottom links. Everything is arranged neatly and is simple to find. It's all in relevant sections. They list DVDs, VHS, Books, Gifts, Specials, by Show, and by Subject. They have a new releases listing and best sellers. They run specials from time to time. For instance, if you order the first season of Kid's in the Hall on DVD, you'll get free standard shipping. Watch for the specials. They will list them in the top right hand corner of the website.

You'll have to create an account if you order from them. Easy to do and pretty much like that of any online store.

Navigation is great and is very fast. No lag time. They offer an affiliate program for you webmasters out there and also have a link to help you if you are searching for employment with them.

My final thoughts:

I love the A&E TV channel and I love their store. There have been many shows or specials that I've watched and wished over the years to have been able to have them on VHS or now DVD. Now I can have them and will as I can.

If by some strange chance you've never had the pleasure of watching the A&E TV channel (Arts and Entertainment TV), please do so. I really believe you'll enjoy it as much as I do and then go by their shop and see what all they have to offer. Relax and browse their content. It's truly enjoyable. Stop by their site and sign up for their newsletter. It's free and interesting.
