I ordered online and it took them a week to let me know the product was out of stock after authorizing my credit card, and updating the status to the order being located in the warehouse. I would avoid ordering from them online. Very disappointed

I bought two items online since they have a sale of 40% off! Now I regret that decision! What happened is that I have bought 2 items, a heavy bag gloves and a snorkel.

The gloves arrived very fast which is in just 2 days BUT it was the wrong one! They gave me a sparring gloves instead of the heavy bags gloves! So I've sent it back with the return slip that came with it but to my surprise, they told me via the fone after sending it back that I have to pay $7 for sending it back for the "return shipping"! I wanted it replaced but instead of replacing it, they just wanted to refund the whole price but I still have to pay for the "SHIPPING"!

For a sporting goods store, they dont know thier merchandise!

BEWARE! DO NOT BUY FROM MODELL's ONLINE SHOPPING!

I encourage everyone to take your business anywhere besides Modell's.  I purchased a jersey for my nephew as a Christmas gift on December 15.  I received an email saying the jersey was "awaiting inventory" and should be available soon.  I assumed wrongly that "soon" meant "within 10 days."  No word or updates from Modell's until Dec. 26, when they sent an automated email saying the jersey order was cancelled--without any explanation.  Fortunately, my card wasn't charged so Modell's didn't get a cent from me, and they never will, nor from my friends and family.

Four weeks ago I placed an order for an "in-stock" item (non-personalized jersey) that was supposed to ship out between 5-6 business days. I've called Modells several times over the last 2 weeks. They've promised me several unreceived emails from the manufacturer (who is actually the sending the product). A customer service representative admitted last week that it wasn't actually in-stock at Modells or the Manufacturer but could not provide me with any information concerning my order's ship date. One extremely rude customer service rep actually implied that I did not understand what "5-6 business" meant even though it had clearly been 8 business days. I tried to cancel the order today and they're "not sure if the item will actually be canceled". They said it might ship out one day in the future which of course will cost me the gas/shipping to return the jersey. I attempted to leave several product reviews on their web page but they've all been denied which leads me to believe that they only accept positive feedback.

I have a friend who is an avid Lakers fan. This Christmas, one of his wish list toppers was a Lakers warm up jacket. We, in fact, hit up most of the sporting goods and team apparel shops in our area and found nothing that really caught his Lakers   Read full review...

I think this store ROCKS! I bought some Bucky Lasek Vans from you (a type of skate shoe for those of you who didn't know)and it was delivered right on time. The price even beat all of the other stores. I could even track my order with ups. Im going to recommend this site to all of my skate budies. Thanks for the shoes.

Prices reasonable. Shipping fast. But the store substituted different style skate from the one I ordered without notification. Didn't like them as much.

You guys are the worst company Ive dealt with,Never again! I placed an order you said was in stock and it wasnt.What kind of company are you running? I ordered a NY Yankee Satin Jacket with you advertising availibility and to my dismay you have proven to provide. I even tried to E-Mail you and you didnt even respond! and aquaintances that your word and commitment sucks.As this was a gift for my wife for her Birthday you have let me down and I was forced to buy elsewhere. I'm extremely satisfied with my first shopping experience at Modell's. The price on the tennis bag was unbeatable, the ground shipping was free, and it was delivered when promised. I was even able to track my package through UPS. I would definitely recommend this site to any one. The ordering process was very easy.
