i placed an order for 3 sonos bundles during a promotion period and was excited about getting a great deal. Somehow my order got canceled and when I tried to reinstate it, the customer service representative told me that it would be no problem to reinstate the order and that his inventory showed that the items were in stock. Near the completion of the order, the representative suddenly transfers me to a "district manager" who asks me things like why I wanted to buy so many bundles and if I was a custom installer. Then he says that he couldn't give it to me at that price. Then he says he is all out of stock. Well, my experience was a complete waste of time and I don't intend to shop at this store again.
Take any good price you see with a grain of salt, as you may not get it and end up wasting your time.
** UPDATE **
I received a call from Jeff who indicated that he had read and was concerned about my negative review and he clarified the issue. Apparently the units were indeed out of stock even though the web site and customer service representatives had indicated that they were in stock. He reported that the web site had been updated to reflect this inaccuracy (which I confirmed) and offered to give me the promotional pricing on a substitute item. I placed a new order and it is now on its way. Jeff was very professional throughout my interactions with him and I am very impressed with how much 6ave.com seemed to value me as their customer.
I am pleased that they take these reviews seriously and make genuine efforts to please their customers.
