I order medium luxury down pillows. They sent me the wrong order 5 times. I have spent over 10 hours calling these people and trying to get their issues with ordering handled to no avail. They promised me they would not charge my credit card. Well they did. I had dispute it with my credit card. Frontgate claims I they never received the last pillow set back. Oddly, I sent the last 3 pillow set back together. Apparently, they received 4 out of 5. This company is horrible customer service is terrible!! They always say sorry and repeat the same error over and over again.

Two outdoor rugs failed to live up to their performance description so I contacted Frontgate's customer service even though it was over a year that I had the rugs. I sent an email with pictures. I received a quick email response and follow up within a week. The following week I was issued a gift certificate for the full price of my rug order. I turned right around and ordered a beautiful cast aluminum outdoor dining table that was on an amazing sale and applied my gift certificate amount to this new order. My table arrived, as promised, within two weeks and in perfect condition. My husband and I assembled it, although it would have been well worth the extra $50 assembly fee on top of the shipping (which was $250) because this table is HEAVY, otherwise the assembly was without any complications. It is a high quality piece. Thank you FrontGate for standing behind your products and for the excellent, fast, no haggle-no hassle customer service. The rugs may not have worked out, but your refund which inspired me to try another of your products was a home run all the way. Five+ Stars to you folks!

Frontgate has provided a number of quality items to our home over the past 7 years; HOWEVER, during the past year, I have received catalogs that had coupon offers which were expired and when customer service was contacted, they could not OR would not help. When I asked if the coupon from the catalog could be applied to my purchase order and mentioned that we spent a lot of money with Frontgate and that the catalog came AFTER the coupon expired, the comment was that EVERYBODY spends a lot of money with Frontgate - VERY EXPENSIVE catalog store!!!! The customer service rep refused to help in any way...result...my business will NOT be going to Frontgate and maybe when you read this, yours won't either!!

I will no longer attempt to purchase anything from this company. On multiple times after placing an order I am informed that it was no longer available. The last straw was tonight. At least this time over the phone I was told everything I wanted to order was no longer available. Why bother spending the time to purchase items for the Holidays to only be told sorry not in stock. Glad I recieved a discount card from them.

Horrible Frontgate shopping experience. I used to love this store.
Picked out expensive outdoor furniture after hours of research. Waited overnight to order sofa and it was gone (my fault) but did order matching table and chairs. Two days later confirmation reads that the chair order is cancelled but my credit card has been charged the full big bucks amount. WTH? I have had this experience twice now that the inventory they are advertising on their website is NOT the inventory available. Who has time for this?? I researched and agonized for hrs over this purchase. Called customer service. So surprised. They are not helpful. Where did frontgate go? They used to be great. My advice? Stick with the companies who know how to sell on the internet and have excellent customer service. |

Very poor customer service. Recieved a gift from my sister in law for my birthday. It wasnt practical so I returned it. I contacted them and they let me exchange it for a pool float and pay the difference. They called for my credit card two times because they could not get it right and the item never shipped. Called weeks later and they said the order was cancelled because it was sold out! Never bothered to let me know. Way overpriced also.

I ordered 2 chaise lounges from Frontgate. They were shipped on June 29th. I received an email on July 13th that told me I would hear from them within 2 days regarding delivery. I heard nothing. I called 4 days later and was told I would hear from them within 2 days. I did not. I repeated this process 4 or 5 times and was always told they would be calling me to set up shipment. I finally cancelled the order after a month of this. The customer service was awful. Only one of the many people I spoke to even apologized. She also told me that my experience was not uncommon. I cannot imagine ordering from this company again!

Frontgate advertised a "reward" program where purchases of $2000 qualified for a $500 reward certificate. I placed an order for $2300 and waited patiently for my reward certificate. I had planned on making another large purchase. When I didn't receive it, I called. They said that since I used a "free shipping" discount code, the purchase did not qualify for the "reward". My receipt showed $237 in shipping charges....doesn't sound like free to me! Well, they continued to explain that the free shipping only applied to the UPS portion of my order. The truck delivery was not free. So, not only was "free shipping" misleading, but their "reward" program is also misleading. I will not buy from Frontgate again. The quality does not justify the exhorbitant prices and their deceitful advertising.

I shop Frontgate all of the time. I last purchased Lynx headphones with the free Ipod. Both products arrived quickly and their staff was great.
I also purchased Backless barstoools, they did arrived damaged by UPS (it looks like the driver took a baseball bat to the boxes!). I call Frontgate, they were great! They took care of getting me replacement product quickly and were very friendly. I order a lot of items online and by far out of all of the companies I've dealt with including Amazon. Frontgate was the most responsive and most friendly. I will keep shopping because of the service and their willingness to correct issues quickly. |

We ordered 5 of their pool floats in the past. We never had any problems with them so we never had to talk to customer service.
We just ordered the hanging pool float rack so we could hang up our floats. It was supposed to hold 6 floats. We were disappointed when we got it out of the box. It is flimsy and cheaply made and we were not confident that it would hold our 5 rafts. It didn't. It broke in a couple days. I called Frontgate and the customer service was horrible. The lady starting making excuses telling me that if I wanted something more sturdy then it would cost me more than the $99 I paid?? Then she tried to tell me that the rack would make a great towel rack??? So, now I'm out shipping costs and won't buy from Frontgate again just based on that experience alone. |

I will never buy from Frontgate again. I should have read these reviews first before I considered ordering from Frontgate.
The customer service is very rude, unprofessional and NO help at all. Frontgate claims they have quality furniture, but yet I have return many items due to defects. I have only bought outdoor furniture,pool float and clock. The pool floats leak oil when you remove them from the pool, the clock stop ticking and now I am dealing with the chaise chairs. The chaise lounge chairs are 200.00/ea and i only had them for 2 years and the vinyl has turned color. I have asked for help to have the vinyl repaired and i'm told the 1yr warranty has expired, they have no repair shop and they are UNDER CONTRACT and will not give the manufacturer. So basically I put out 800.00 for 4 chaise lounge chairs and they look like.......Its absolutley upsetting! NEVER NEVER NEVER will I order from Frontgate and NEVER will I EVER recommend them. |

Received the item (queen size comforter) in almost three days (NYC), accurate and perfectly brand new and great quality item, especially the item was Frontgate own brand. Four years ago my husband and I decided to not have a real Christmas tree any longer. I wanted the best artificial tree I could find so that it would be reliable and easy to set up every year. We purchased the largest frasier fir tree Fountgate, and we regret that purchase every time it comes to setting up the tree. Every single year there is a problem with the lights not working. You would think for that kind of money you would be getting a tree that didn't go out when just one bulb wasn't working. Wrong. The branches are also very fragile and break after a couple of uses. This year it only took an hour to fix the lights (this was a blessing compared to other years), but the new problem we had this year was the stand. It has rusted and become stuck in a folded up position. It took two hours and harsh loosening chemicals to break it free. I would never purchase this tree again.

Ordered early and then watched as my "instock" got pushed to a back order, then pushed back 10 days from that, then 1 more week from that, then another week and finally today, one day before the supposed 4th shipping date I was informed that the ship date has been extended another week. They string you along and you have to keep calling to find out, they don't tell you.

Face-down Portable Chaise with Adjustable Pillow: I bought this product because Frontgate had a reasonable price for this and I figured their products were top notch. I was so wrong. I purchased two of them, one in blue, the other in pink. Upon opening the boxes, the blue one was fine, but the pink was dirty.
The construction of these chairs is shoddy to say the least. What got me the most irritated was the fact that they are built for a person that may be about 5' or shorter. You can't lay flat on them either, because they don't go completely flat. They are uncomfortable to even sit in. I will never purchase anything from Frontgate again. |

After spending days researching for a laptop table, I found this beautiful glass one on Frontgate. The shipping was prompt but one of the glass tops was completely shattered on arrival. So I called for a return.
The customer service representative was professional. She asked if I wanted a replacement and I said no because given the way they packaged it, there is no way it would NOT be broken in transit. Even though she said she had no problem shipping that in the past, she still promptly proceeded to refund me completely and send me the return shipping label. They didn't pay for pickup in residential address though. Fortunately, I had something else delivered by UPS the next day and the guy picked this up at the same time. The refund was deposited back into my credit card after a few days. It was a very painless return. It was a really beautiful laptop table and I cannot find a similar product anywhere else. Too bad the packaging sucked. I would buy from Frontgate again, but only products that cannot be easily broken. |

First order had damaged item and one item missing. Charged my credit card for replacement until return of defective item (which seemed fair), and promised to send the missing 2nd item.
But they never sent the second item, and after 3 repeat calls, they never sent the promised pre-paid shipping label for the return of defective item. I just gave up from frustration. Horrible initial delivery (defective and missing items); horrible follow-through on promises by customer service. The only good thing to say was the customer service people were very polite and friendly on the phone when I actually got to speak to them. But that means nothing because they did not deliver what was promised. |
