Ordered a rose vase for my fiancee several days ago and spent a large amount on it to be delivered on Valentine's day. Talked to her on the phone and realized she had not received the vase. Called customer service but could not get through, sent a customer service email. Tracked package online only to find out that it was in another state some 200 miles away 30 minutes ago. My fiancee has now left work and the shipment isn't expected to arrive until tomorrow and there is no way I can cancel the shipment. DO NOT EVER, EVER USE 1800 FLOWERS. They boast a 100 percent guarantee but this is completely untrue and practically a scam. Use Proflowers instead.

CANCELS LAST MINUTE AFTER COMMITING TO DELIVERY
by whm3, February 14, 2012

1800FLOWERS canceled my Valentine's delivery for my wife at 2:30PM on Valentine's day. I only found out when the website updated the status to "Canceled" with no explanation. After 40 minutes on hold trying to get to an operator, I was told my record was locked and I would need to call back later. The agent would not transfer me to a supervisor nor would they offer any explanation other than call back, remain on hold for another 40 minutes, and try again later. I will never do business with this company again.

I just received an arrangement sent to me by a relative across the country. This is the most pathetic looking thing I have ever received in my 50+ years on earth! It looks NOTHING like the picture of what was ordered. 5 flowers in it and 3 of them aren't even open. I guess they figure the sender will not see what is delivered. After calling the delivery shop, they said a "small" was ordered, not the large which pops up. I do believe my relative was taken advantage of completely. NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE!!!!

None of their customer support speaks english, i called multiple times and i had to read my "AMERICAN" name back to the two reps i spoke to 4 times. customer service is horrible. Flowers were beautiful but lets face it, they are the middle man so props to the floral shops not 1800 flowers. flowers were 4 hours late. wont do business with them again. its worth noting that you really should just remove the middle man from the equation. find a floral shop next to your relatives and order their, better money and better accountability for mistakes. imagine hearing an impathetic response tp why your flowers were not delivered to your wife from a person who cant even speak english..

Spent $79 for a Santa paws arrangement and was disappointed. Not delivered on time. Had to call to see why. No apology offered. End product was not what was pictured. No Santa hat. No red collar ribbon, and glasses fashioned out of wire. FTD and Pro flowers had better mobile apps and email notifications as well. 1800 might have inventive designers and marketing but their cust service has lost my business.

If you like your flowers delivered tightly wrapped in a box with tie wraps all squished together, then 1800 Flowers.com is for you. I ordered 24 roses to be delivered to my wife's work for our 10th anniversary. I imagined a beautiful bouquet of flowers delivered to my wife's office where all the ladies there would 'ooo' and 'aaaa' over them. Instead it took strong hands and a pair of scissors to get them out of the box making a mess everywhere. While you are at it, arrange them yourself okay? All for only $87.
I will NEVER use them again. |

1-800-Flowers is horrible. Please don't use this company if you are trying to send flowers to someone or somthing that is important. I was having flowers I sent to my Best friends mom's funeral and they didn't show up. I live out of state and couldn't afford to fly in and thought that at least sending something to show I was thinking of the family. What a joke. Insult to injury when I called they tried to offer me a 20 dollar gift card. Really!!! Horrible.

TERRIBLE customer service. I placed an order on Friday for flowers to be delivered to my mom for her 75th birthday. On Saturday AFTERNOON I receive an e-mail that 1-800 Flowers cannot fill the order. I have ordered twice from 1800flowers.com and both times they were late. My sister's 50 birthday, they delivered a day late and my niece's 14 birthday was yesterday and they delivered today instead of yesterday. They always apologize and give you back your money so if you want a free bouquet, order from them, they'll probably do it wrong and then you can get it for free.

I recently needed to order flowers for a funeral and as my local florist was closed due to vacation and it was the night before the service, I turned to the internet. I had had a bad experience with FTD ( they delivered dying flowers and promised to replace them, which they never did) so I decided to order from 1-800=flowers. I ordered a standing basket ( basket with a stand) which had an additional cost of $20 . The arrangement was delivered the next day as promised and although the flowers were very pretty, the basket was not in a stand as shown in their pictures.
I contacted their customer service and requested a refund for the difference between the standing and non-standing basket ($20). After a couple of back and forth emails, I was issued a full credit of the entire cost of the flowers. I was very happy and surprised. It is very rare that a company would provided such excellent customer service. I would definantly use this company again and highly recommend them. |

I recently placed my first order with 1-800-Flowers; a gift box from their Popcorn Factory offerings. Part of the box I ordered wasn't quite as described, so I contacted Customer Service to make them aware.
The Sales and Service Specialist, Bernardo, promptly apologized and was empowered by the company to make restitution that far exceeded my expectations. In turning this mildly negative experience into an extremely positive one, I truly feel like my continued business matters to 1-800-Flowers and I dare say I could be a customer for life! For any 1-800-Flowers competitors who happen to view this, please learn from their example! |

I ordered a flower cake to be delivered to my mom who had surgery and would be in the hospital on her birthday. Seemed like the perfect gift. However, even though I placed the online order over a week in advance, the flowers were delivered a day late. By then, my mom had been released from the hospital and never received the them. I called to complain and the Customer Service Rep agreed to refund my money for the order and include a $20 off coupon for my trouble. I figured I would order a new arrangement once I received the refund and coupon. It took a couple days to receive the refund, but I never received the $20 coupon. I will not use 1800Flowers ever again!

I made an order over the phone because I could not find a lilac bouquet on the website. The assistant on the phone was horrible and got the billing address and greeting card message completely wrong. There were grammatical errors and everything. It took two calls and an e-mail to get everything correct on the order.
Then, on the day of delivery I get a call almost at the end of the business day saying they couldn't find a florist to fill the order. They offered to deliver the flowers the next day for 50% off, but that doesn't work so well on an anniversary, I will never use this service again! |

Dont ever do business with this company. I ordered flowers for Mothers Day over a week ago and they never delivered them. I called and they didnt have information for the delivery and today which is Tuesday I called and they were extremely rude and said they will deliver tomorrow and give 50% back on my card. They then called me back to tell me that they wont be able to deliver until Thursday and when they asked me if thats ok I tried to tell them how thats not fair and I was very calm about it. The person talked over me and said thank you for choosing 1800Flowers and hung up on me so they didnt have to deal with me. I have never been so disrespected in my life as a customer and they have ruined Mothers Day. I want to talk to a manager but judging by all of the current reviews and how I was treated I dont think itll change anything.

Ridiculous waste of money
by treese1974, May 9, 2011

My husband ordered me flowers for Mother's Day. He spent $80, a considerable amount, and the flowers were horrible! The arrangement in an average sized vase consisted of 8 very blah peach roses, 6 carnations, a huge amount of filler greenery and a couple of gardenias, but most of them were actually withered and dead. They were also delivered on the wrong day. My brother got me a bunch from the supermarket and they were far, far superior. Customer service apologized and offered a "replacement", but since they had been ordered to be delivered to my parent's home for Mother's Day dinner table, I declined and asked for a partial refund. That was declined. Honestly, this place is really the worst!

Go elsewhere for flowers

I ordered flowers for my Mom to be delivered in person 2 days before Mother's Day this year. I figured with all the last minute orders at 1-800-Flowers.com, it's better to have it delivered earlier. Well, guess what, it never came! Imagine my surprise when I called my mom to wish her Happy Mother's Day only to find out the flowers never arrived! I immediately got on the phone with them and they apologized about the mixup and promised to have it delivered the same day. Bottom line is look elsewhere if you want it to be delivered on time!

Ordered mother's day flowers. At 5PM on Mother's day they called to let me know that they could not deliver due to "large amount of orders".
In this era of slumping business and sites such as this, this is inexcusable. They should not have taken my order if they could not fulfill. To add more punishment, they will not credit my credit card for 5 to 10 days. I recommend highly that anyone looking for floral deliveries simply google "florist" in the area of your recipient. |

WARNING: YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR ORDER WHEN PROMISED.
by mouseanon, May 6, 2011
|
|||||||
|
If you are ordering for an occasion like Mother's Day, forget it. Mom won't get it in time. Plus, they ship via FedEx or UPS (or even USPS) from Mississippi and do not use local florists, so what you get will be days old and beat to hell when it shows up. Customer service is inept and doesn't care. Will cancel order on you if you complain. Then good luck getting your money back. AVOID.

Botched my second order and delivery for my girlfriend. Even botched second delivery attempt for this order. Then they cancelled order without getting in touch with me order refunding money. You will only get foreigners on phone and any attempt at refund will end in getting disconnected or chat online cancelled. They are corrupt. I should have seen all these reviews before. Ordered flowers fro my Wife's Birthday. She received a voice mail on her birthday saying she had a flowers order but cannot be delivered because my card had some problems. Spoiled my flowers. I checked my card was charged, I had received a delivery confirmation e-mail. Talked to the customer rep. who was not very nice. I asked them why my wife was called and I was not informed if there was any problem with my card, he strongly denied my wife received any call, inspite of she still having a voice mail for this call. He accepted my card was charged but flowers were not delivered due to some unknown reason and delivery confirmation mail was an error. Occasion was spoiled. They agreed to refund the money, but after reading all these reviews I am sure that would not be without trouble.Stay away from them.

Horrible Service!! Will never use them again. Ordered 1/2 dozen balloons to be delivered to my daughter for her birthday. She calls me to say thanks for the flowers. Uh.. FLOWERS? They mixed up the order with someone else's, but she did get the right card with it. So I call to complain & was told that they would go & pick up the flowers (she had already opened the container) & deliver her balloons. I said they should deliver the balloons & let her keep the flowers since it was their mistake. But they wouldn't do it. They finally did deliver the balloons... but guess what? There was a card attached to the balloons that read "With our deepest sympathy" can you believe it?!! I feel sorry for the person that got the cheery Happy Birthday balloons that was supposed to get a sympathy bouquet instead!! To top it off the stupid sounding person on the phone never even apologized!! Please don't waste your time & money on 1-800 Flowers!! Should be called 1-800 Dummies!!!

Called at 3 pm to check on delivery because it had not been made yet, told it was on truck for delivery should be there shortly. Called at 5:30 pm because still not delivered, told that the florist is very large and had multiple trucks delivering and could not tell which truck they were on but would be delivered no later than 7 pm. Called at 7:05 because no delivery and was apologized to for the problem and told that they would NOT be delivered because the florist was closed, told they would have them delivered on Sunday 2/20/11 before noon.
