I can't express my dissatisfaction enough. After much research, I decided upon a 46" Sony Bravia XBR5 LCD set. 123 BuyDirect had the set for about $50 less than everyone else - so my nightmare began. I was initially impressed, because less than 5 minutes after I placed my order online, I received a phone call from a salesperson there. He told me that there was a better LCD set available - a new Samsung model. I initially appreciated his direct approach, and he sold me on the change. I felt even better when he gave me expedited shipping (7-9 business days) for half-price, and threw in 2 HDMI cables. I didn't think too much of it when I hadn't received my updated email receipt, but did call back in 4 days to ensure it was done - and it was that day. However, after waiting approximately 10 business days for the call or email that they promised for delivery, I called back. Well, the once-nice same salesperson was completely rude. At one point, he was literally yelling at me, and also directly insulting his customer service department at the same time, which is very unprofessional. At that point, he promised me that the TV would be delivered within a week, and would reimburse the delivery fee. I also asked for another email receipt. Well, I never got the email reciept, and never got the expedited delivery fee refund. After waiting for a few more days for delivery, and after never receiving another email or phone call to schedule delivery, I called back again. After more arguing, he again promised the refund, and also promised the TV delivered within 2 days. Again, no call and no email, and I called back again the day it was supposed to be delivered. He told me that they never got the TV in from Samsung, since it "was so new" (though they are sitting on the shelves at BestBuy), and he was sorry, and he would refund my entire order amount. I told him how this had been such a bad experience for me, and he argued and told me that it wasn't a bad experience for me - as if that is for him to decide! So, I waited for my refund for 5 days, and no sign of it. So I called the assistant manager, who asked if I got my $100 refund back yet?! I told her the whole story, as NONE of it was documented in the records. Then she told me that they were attempting to deliver the TV!!! Incredible - I had already bought another one at Best Buy. I asked her for a full refund, and she said she had to contact the shipper before she could refund the money. I asked her specifically how long this all might take, and she told me up to 10 days! I asked her to read her notes from this conversation back to me, so I could ensure that the same mistake would not be made again, but she said "no sorry, I won't do that - too busy." And hung up!
