I deeply regret ordering flowers for my mother's funeral from flowers.com. I selected a beautiful bouquet and paid an additional fee for the "premium" selection of "stunning" flower arrangement. The flowers that were on display at the memorial service when I arrived were ugly anthuriums, not what I ordered at all, missing the ribbon (which was $10.00 extra) and did not even have my name on them. The only thing stunned was ME.
I was so embarrassed by this floral arrrangement, totally inappropriate for a funeral.
The customer service people are rude and had a very accusatory tone with me. They acted as though it was my fault! They wanted to remedy the situation by sending a bouquet THE DAY AFTER HER FUNERAL to my home. This man couldn't understand why this wasn't an acceptable option to me, a funeral is a one time event, my last time to give my Mother flowers.
I would never again order flowers from an on-line company, the pictures are misleading, you don't get what is in the picture!!!! The prices are inflated and the customer service people do not problem solve, they just want to shut you up. I'd rate them a negative number if it were at all possible.
