I received flowers from this company for my birthday and for Mother's Day. I absolutely HATE receiving flowers from these guys!! First of all the flowers come packaged to the hilt. UPS shows up at 5pm, maybe even after you've left to go out to dinner. You arrive home to this over packaged cardboard box. Opening the box takes a knife, and patience. Once you remove the card board box, there is another level of cardboard infrastructure to remove. You end up tearing it apart in frustration. Ditto the layers of one inch Styrofoam. At last, you reach the double plastic bags. Scissors I can't find. End up tearing the bag, and spilling soil all over the kitchen counter. Oh boy. Eureka. Here is this tiny plant (lilies) about the size of a 4 inch flower pot from the nursery. It's sitting in a planter that would hold a one gallon plant. I can't believe someone paid for this. I looked online to see the item price-it cost $49.99, before shipping!!!!!! My kids think they bought something nice for Mother's Day. I really wish I had another Amazon.com gift certificate instead. This is the second major disappointment in a gift from this retailer. Eight to ten dollar pot, two to three dollar lily, $65 or more out of the gift giver's pocket. What a waste of money.
