Promotional problem solved with necessary call to customer service.

After reading all the negatives about this store, I have to relate my experiences.

I have been using them for two to three years now for out of state deliveries and long distant in state deliveries. All of my orders have been delivered timely and with beautiful flowers. My experience always had been with vased flowers, so I am not sure how they are with boxed items. All the recipients seem to have been very pleased with the flowers they have received.

The only problem was the mother's day flowers I ordered yesterday. They had a promotion for mother's day purchases and the computer wouldn't apply the code I had used. I was able to use another promotional code, but it was for considerably less savings.

After a call from me to customer service questioning why it wouldn't apply the promotional code I had preferred, the representatives kept saying that promotion was over or didn't apply to the selection I had picked. Upon explaining the promotion email to the rep, I was then transferred to an assistant manager, and then to the regional manager. I told them that the fine print had the offer available for two more days yet. They said they would investigate the matter and call me back.

Upon reviewing other shoppers reviews, I didn't expect to receive any resolution to this matter. I had already received confirmation of the sale by email while on hold with customer service, and also received another promotion for the day, also while on hold. I was on the phone for about 30-45 minutes while the managers tried to find the promotion I was referring too.

While waiting for their return call, I did receive a thank you from my mother, that the flowers were already delivered, since I used the optional early delivery, although I preferred the next day delivery. The flowers arrived as described with the vase as shown in the picture. I have found out that it's only a plastic vase, however, when I assumed it was glass. You may want to read the descriptions precisely. This item was marked as a $20 dollar savings, but upon internet searches, I found that most sites had the discounted price as their regular price.

Too make a long story short, sorry for the novel, I did finally receive a callback from the original customer rep. She did apologize for the misunderstanding, and credited me the original promotion savings, plus I received the promotion savings I had used, a second time also. I was pleasantly surprised after reading all of the negative feedback. The customer service people were friendly and apologetic for the problems I had incurred.

I do plan on using them again. You can get bonus points using their fresh rewards service, but I think they can afford to do that with their somewhat higher prices and shipping charges. I do hope they continue to try and upgrade their customer service, as I see many customers have had problems in the past. I had mentioned this problem to the reps, and they seemed to be sympathetic to these other concerns.

I hope my future experiences with them go well.
